Pillow is extremely bad, I felt like sleeping on an empty pillow case.

Noticed few hairs on pillows, housekeepers may be more careful on this kind of details. Also, receptionist person can be a bit more polite and smiling.

One of us has bad balance and uses a wheelchair.We had through Booking.com asked for a shower chair in the shower. We had got a proper answer that the hotel could not guarantee that. So far so good. We tried to call the hotel (3 times) the very day using the tel no which was informed in the confirmation. No answer - we were told to send an email. We did, to the address given in the confirmation. Of course this did not work. No answer. When arriving at the hotel we asked for a shower chair and also referred to our mail and earlier comments in our first booking. We were told they had no such thing as a shower chair and that this was nothing they could help us with. In addition we were told that all emails always were answered and that if we had not got an answer we had sent it to the wrong address! When we got to our room it was an excellent junior suite with a shower chair!! How come the receptionist did not know/ did not want to inform that we actually had got all we asked for ? The internal communication within the hotel is obviously not working. To summarize: we are actually very satisfied with our stay but not with the reception when we came. If you come in the evening, tired after a day of travelling, you don't t feel nice when you are received this way. Improve your internal communication, train/ inform your reception staff! Obviously communication through Booking.com does not work either.

There was hair in the bathroom. Shampoo, shower gel and soap in one bottle. There was no toothbrush. When I checked in, I met an intern at the reception, without a badge. I did not immediately understand why she just stood there scared and did nothing without any comments.

Room air conditioning is complex. I don't think it works. It was too hot. I was given two beds placed together though I booked a double. Bed quality was low, ones in Bremen more comfortable. In Bremen I had a kettle, tea coffee but not in this hotel..

Location Simple check in and settle I stayed in Bremen and Hamburg.. same in both..Reception staff do their work but they must be warm and hospitable as well, front desk requires this!

There wasn't enough air in the room even with climate control on max fan setting, and some doors and furniture could use refurbishing. No toothpaste in the bathroom.

Bed was too soft. Female receptionist was exceptionally rude. Room keys stopped functioning after 10 AM and she accused us of having done something wrong with both our keys. Later, during check out she was very aggressive about length of time we wanted in the parking lot prior to exit, even though we had stayed in the hotel less than 18 hours and parking is charged on per 24 hour period basis. Some other hotel employees were also not too friendly, although service in dining hall was very good..

Comfortable and clean hotel. Free tickets for public transport. Friendly male receptionist. Good breakfast spread and friendly service in the dining hall.
