Sadly, the mattress was very soft, which is personal dislike. The pillows were a little gutless, but I think that is a common theme. I'd travel with my own pillow next time. The only other thing and it's a big one. The hotel is also a conference centre. The morning we left, a large group had arrived, but they then proceeded to smoke right outside the front door. As a non-smoker, this was a huge issue trying to pass through 30-40 people smoking (not vaping). The hotel needs to give a smoking area away from the front door as this left a bad, taste smell and memory on departure.

This hotel was perfect for us in location and travel time between Calais and Krakow. The staff were very friendly and the evening meal was lovely. The room was spacious and was quiet. Great place to stay when travelling with a dog. The best part was in the morning. The breakfast was exceptional. Amazing choice that catered for everyone. Even a Pakcake make that was just the best. Every guest was fascinated by it. Definitely one to stay in again and again.

We've got a huge room (with 2 additonal small inner rooms, each with a single bed, so 4 beds to sleep in total). All kids were very happy of that :-).. The dog was even happier - we could go for a walk directly from the room through a window (the room was situated on the groud floor). The beds were very comfortable.

The pool showers were broken (broken by force, really!), which I guess was a way of saying that you should use your room's shower instead - but better to remove them if that's the case, instead of having stuff broken like that. Also that general area: changing rooms with the shared showers outside, was a bit dark and not so nice, better to close/remove it than having people try to use them. Let me put it like this: pool was 7-8 out of 10, but the changing rooms and shared showers was 1 out of 10. Also, I guess this hotel permitted smooking a while back. You could tell. But we didn't smell or have any problem with that at our rooms, which needs to be said!, but there was smoking areas outside, a booth displaying different cigars/cigarillos, and a and even a big smooking lounge (!) - so if that's your thing then this is certainly your hotel!

Very, and I mean VERY, large rooms! With large functional bathrooms. Quite dated property, which should benefit from a renovation, but perfectly fine to stay at for a night or two. It's at the edge of a small sleeping work, so there's probably not much to do in the area. We just stayed for the night, so not planning on visiting our doing anything in the area. This is a conference hotel, and as such I guess it works perfect - where you book all the rooms for your company/organisation and then utilize the property for that purpose. The pool area was nice, with a large and deep indoor pool with a lot of seating areas around. The breakfast was nice, but the panncake machine was broken (?), we think, or there was something to do with the kitchen - we didn't really understand. This place has gotten some bad reviews, which I think it doesn't deserve, probably by people expecting a modern hotel. You get what you pay for! We certainly liked the large pool, large rooms and that breakfast was included in the price. We stays 5 people, in two rooms, for 1 night at EUR 209. Well worth the money!

Some years ago it's was very nice hotel, but they stopped, and forgot to go forward. When you come inside, it looks that 1980 is now.

Beer automat at reception would be great. There's no bars or shops open around if arrived late.

We had booked an apartment, but the bedroom only had a single bed. Without problems we changed to a Superior room, that was a little smaller, but had a double bed in the bedroom and a single bed in the sitting room. The sauna was not warm.

The breakfast was fine, with a good selection of different dishes. The room was very clean and the beds were in good quality. The swimming pool was nice and clean. The tv programs included 2 canals for children. We will use this hotel, next time we are in this area.

The place must be some 40 years old and getting a little worn and tired here and there, carpets fading, walls marked, etc - nothing major and still spotlessly clean.

Reception very friendly, rooms spacious and clean, windows ca be opened, very quiet, excellent buffet breakfast, nice pool.

The hotel is pretty big for such a small town, and everybody is very friendly there, but still some leftover of Soviet influence in this building you can smell.

We just stayed over the night, but overall everything was really great and a short morning walk around the city opened the great historical place where is the greatest museum of musical instruments covering a period of 250 years several hundreds years ago. Exceptional Kaiser dome is situated in this city where actually this museum is. Great place to walk around.

The hotel is well organised with swimming pool, sauna, bowling lanes, gym, tennis, and probably more that we missed. The staff was friendly and helped us every time we asked.
