Understandable, due to sick or missing personell, breakfast on Sunday finished already at 9.30h or 10h (I do not remember exactly) but the personell insisted so much and unfriendly that we finish on time, that it was not pleasant to eat there, being rushed like this.

Nice reception desk, loved the pool. Perfect to enjoy and relax after walking a lot during the day. Quiet and adequate rooms. Public transportation close by.

Could have had a few more channels on the TV!, and the receptionist smoking was off-putting.

For a budget hotel, this is welll worth considering. Easy to find, comfortable room and excellent breakfast.

Pillow not very comfortable. Need some boiling water in the room.

Easy to find the parking on street. Simply people and easily for check in.

The furnishings and look of hotel were a bit dated and there weren’t many channels on tv in room.

Loved the pool and sauna. The breakfast was very good tho not much hot food (didn’t bother me but may others). Not a very long walk to city and main station. Everything seemed clean. Good value for money

very good for the price.. the location is great.. very easy to get there from the central station and calm neighbourhood with everything you might need reachable by foot .

Breakfast staff is grumpy, very limited in their answers and not helpful. The Hotel is good value for money, but rather old and needs a makeover. Spiders in the room, several dead insects on the inside of breakfast room window. Four Wifi signals but no password availabe, even staff didn´t know. In addition both power plugs in room were already taken.

Sauna rarely works. Very compact en-suite with curtain around shower ( water spills over). On street parking must be reset every 3 hrs. (Not the hotel responsibility but important to know).

Excellent hotel run by committed staff. Very relaxing swimming pool area. Good breakfast. Very clean. We stay here every year and staff always impress me. We love the 1970s feel everywhere in the building- all solid, good quality and retro. Cafés, bakeries shops and even a Michelain restaurant on your doorsteps.

No aircon and indifferent wifi

The kids loved having a pool and it was great to cool off after a long drive. Rooms are very basic but the bed was comfortable.

The very loud hotel neighbors. No AC or ventilator. It was really warm and I had to open the window during night and it was loud!! So if you are a light sleeper coming in Summer, bring your good ear plugs and a portable fan! The staff is not really friendly and one of them was actually a bit rude.

The high temperatures meant the room was very hot and I struggled to sleep with no fan available and sadly no aircon. The wifi was extremely weak. There’s no socket near the head of the bed or in the room for charging my phone - I had to scrabble on the floor behind the curtains to find a spare socket. There’s no safe in the room for valuables. The toiletries are scant - two small plastic sachets and a coin sized piece of soap - so I’m glad I brought my own. The marble tiles around the toilet were stained /yellowed with age/“use” and the bathroom in itself could do with a refresh. There was no lounge or common seating area (which is mentioned ) which would have been nice as I was a single traveller often back after early dinners and my room was small and very hot.

Staff were very helpful and showed me the pool and breakfast area when I arrived. Pool has deckchairs and a sauna is switched on when you ask for it. The pool has a strong jacuzzi button which makes waves. The breakfast is cheerfully presented and has a little of everything and is taken in a relaxed way in a pleasant airy room. There’s a lift and an external door key for after 11pm. They do sell bottles of cold water which was extremely useful as temperatures were 30/31 degrees. Room was small but neat and single bed was comfortable. Shower was fine and hairdryer was useful. Restaurant recommendations were excellent. I visited both the Galleria Italian and Undine restaurant overlooking the river Saar.
