Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Staff at the reception and the bar seemed a bit impatient and made us feel a little uncomfortable asking what we think were legitimate questions like where can we park and when the restaurant opens. Could be nice to have an electric kettle in the room.
Very quiet and comfortable location just on the edge of the city. The room was very big and accommodated a family of 5 very comfortably. Two showers (a nath and a shower) with good water pressure. Beds were comfortable and big - both the double parents bed and the kids sofa-bed. Everything was ready when we arrived (eve the baby cot), and we had a quick check-in experience. The on promises restaurant was very good - a great solution for a hassle-free dinner.

No mini fridge in the room.
The hotel is very attractive with a special traditional country like architecture with two main two story buildings surrounding a central courtyard for parking. Also has underground parking. Very clean and attractive setting in a nice quiet suburban residential neighborhood with a small village feel to it. Not too far from the city center. Great breakfast! Traditional Brauhaus restaurant next to the hotel. Bonus outdoor ice-cream shop on the corner open into the evening. The Obermaier in my opinion is one of the nicest hotel I stayed in while traveling Europe. 5**

It was absolutely amazing stay in Munich. I love the breakfast buffet. Don't want to go elsewhere for breakfast. Nice staff, clean and quiet rooms. A bit walking to metro station but 139 bus stop right in front. Love the Bavarian style.

I stayed in 2 rooms of which the comfort room had a very hard bed, but the economy room had a nice single soft bed.
Excellent breakfast. One minor flaw is that unfortunately they do not serve fried eggs, but have scrambled as well as soft and hard boiled as well as anything you desire.

the property was larger with a hotel bar, hotel restaurant and beer garden and hotel breakfast with reservation. We rented out a studio apartment as we stayed for over a week and it was spacious and so comfortable.

There was no lift inside the building where the loft was located. No housekeeping for 7 days.
Great breakfast, friendly staff and very good location. The hotel is close to U-Bahn,S-Bahn station and several markets.

We are happy with the services and help rendered during our stay, the staff are so helpful and friendly. The breakfast varieties are good and the location is near to metro and bus stop. Plenty of parking lot in front of the hotel. Will definitely stay here again.

We had fully paid for our accommodation before arrival. However, at check-in, we had to pay a further €500 Deposit (Kaution in German). We have travelled extensively in Europe, USA, Asia and have never experienced this before. it was refunded after checkout but travellers need to be aware of this unpleasant surprise.
Clean & comfortable. Great location beside good transportation links - bus, S/U-Bahn. Also, cafés, bakeries, supermarkets nearby. We were visiting family nearby, so really only used our Studio at night.

The only slight drawback was that I could easily hear people in other rooms. However, it is important to note that everyone was very quite and after 10pm usually there was no noise at all.
The breakfast was outstanding, the staff very competent and welcoming, the rooms and the hotel was nice and confortable.
