I didn’t like that there is no coffee machine in the room and that the bathroom is dated.

My son forgot his I-pad charger in room. It had to be found by housekeeping while cleaning room. It was next to bed I am disappointed with answer that they could not find it

We spent three nights at Park Hotel St Leonhard as a part of our European road trip. The staff were all very friendly and coped well with our limited ability to speak German. Our room was large and comfortable with a lake view. There was plenty of free parking. We had one evening meal in the restaurant which was very good. The breakfast offering was also very good. There is a regular bus service into Uberlingen which is free to use for hotel guests.

Even if there are gluten free options and bread for breakfast there is poor knowledge of celiac disease and food cross contamination (as in most part of Germany). Before to order I asked if that meal is safe for me and they said yes but they served it with a slice of normal bread in the dish. Not a good thing, but besides that I explained again the problem and the cross contamination and they made another time the meal.

location just too far from city center for visit to other bars / restaurants very big - distances to walk and various different escalators to use to come to your own room - we really needed the map of the hotel to locate our room (and the reception) staff is friendly- however bit distant breakfast in line with expectations, dinner choice and quality disappointing for 4 star ambitions

25€ per night for a small dog is insanely overpriced and not at all fair (I bring his bed, breakfast, drinks and comfort). A lot of staff with very poor German language skills, that's actually embarrassing. Half the pages, apps and services I use on my electronic devices didn't work with the WIFI.

The sauna and spa is indeed nice however calling it "Panorama sauna" is quite window dressing. No panorama sauna existing (only a regular one without panorama view, actually without any view at all). If you are lucky to get a seat on the first row bench on the terrace outside of the spa area you will face a big roof in front of you and behind that the Bodensee (Lake Constance). Fair enough. However the sauna space itself is really nice.

It's a long walk uphill from the main part of town if you don't take the bus!

Loved having breakfast on the terrace, with a lake view. Breakfast was superb. Self-serve buffet, with a wide selection of high quality food including salmon, Alp Blossom cheese (my favourite), overnight oats, a wide range of breads and jams, fruit etc. Good coffee and a selection of cheeses. Room was spotless and had a balcony. A nice touch was the frige in the room, and - even better, given how hot it was - it was stocked with a few cooling drinks, free of charge. There was also a kettle in the room. Our room had a balcony and although it was billed as having a "country" view, we did have a tiny glimpse of the lake - bonus! Plenty of free parking. The hotel provided us with a free travel card each, so that we could use trains and buses around Uberlingen and along the lake - fantastic!

-Deal-breaker is the pillows are incredibly poor quality and offer little to no support. We had requested different, firmer pillows and we simply received more of the same poor quality pillows. -For two people the prices are higher than would've been expected, cost more than similar hotels in more expensive countries/regions. - Hotel and decor is dated.

+ Comfortable and clean hotel + magnificent views of the lake + good breakfast + more than sufficient parking. + Check in and check-out were simple and efficient. + Many facilities at the hotel

My room too close to the road (max 10m). View on parking place. Staff access directly under room. Extremely loud (staff has to work, that’s normal), not possible to sleep after 7:30 on a Saturday :-(. Breakfast only until 10am, hence extremely crowded breakfast place, needed to queue 5min for a coffee, staff in full stress but still awesome. long queue for check-out.
