Location is perfect. Easy to get from the airport with S9 S-bahn without changing lines. Tiergarten and Zoo are very close. All surroundings are good.

Great location, only a few minutes walk from the S-Bahn, and 10 mins away from the zoological gardens. Clean and without fuss. Nice view on the balcony. Good explanation on arrival as to access after hours. Helpful front-of-house.

No tea/coffee facility in room...it was available in lobby though but there was 3 flights of stairs to negotiate..! But only a minor complaint.. I would return here again though.!

Nice warm cosy hotel near the Zoological Gardens transport hub...buses to bring you there from the stop almost outside the door (M49 and X34) Staff were friendly....room was well insulated..no street noise Breakfast was an option but didn't avail of it..but it looked nice.

The room was small (as expected) but nothing like the pictures posted on booking.com; it was quite plain like a student's dorm room, decorated in a mismatched 70's style, with truly hideous art on the walls.

Arriving after hours was fine - the key was at a restaurant/bar close by, and the staff gave me the key quickly and efficiently. The location is terrific, with many restaurants in the immediate area, as well as several transportation options. It was clean and the heat worked much of the time (it seemed to be off during the mornings). My room overlooked a quiet courtyard.

The location was amazing. It was 3 to 5 minutes to the train station. It was also a very decent and safe part of the city, so we were very comfortable. I loved the building and the room. The building was old and authentic, the room was very large and had a very high ceiling. even though there is no AC we had pretty comfortable nights, When you open the windows you feel a very breezy weather. thank you for this experience!

a quiet part of town, with enough horeca. Tiergarten (during a heatwave) and the zoo nearby were a blessing, travelling with child. The room was big, comfortable, clean and with high ceilings. The breakfast was simple but of high quality.

It was a bit noisy outside at night. This wasn’t a problem with the windows closed but in summer that makes it hot in the room. A fan would provide a lot of comfort.

Convenient location, in a neighborhood with lots of restaurants and cafes, on foot to shopping and a short train ride (10-15 mins) to the main station.

It would be useful to have clothes hangers in the room (there are hangers for jackets etc., but no place to hang your dress or formal shirt).

The best are: localisation (close to trains and many restaurants) and comfortable beds, there is everything you need for a short stay in the room.
