Luggage was held for me at 9am until i was able to check in at 10pm. Double single room was nicely spacious. Breakfast buffet was limted but sufficed for the first day and for the last day. Priced nicely and the location was close to centre Koln. As a black person, I felt very comfortable and welcomed, no one stared or acted differently so would 100% stay again and would recommend to any solo/couple travling wanting to experience Koln!

The man who was working at the reception can behave better to customers! He was very angry because he told us I am tired! They don't put a cheap water bottle and glasses in the room. It is not expensive at all but it is a kind of respectful manner to welcome your customer. The rooms are too much warm even with opening windows!

On our arrival, we were told we had to pay for parking which we did not expect. This wouldn't have put us off staying here but it would have been nice to know ahead of time. The bar in the hotel was closed and staff told us that it hasn't reopened since covid-19 began. This was a shame as the hotel is quite a distance from the centre. We relied on Lime scooters which actually ended up making our trip, however, this wouldn't suit everyone. The breakfast was not included in our stay. The one day we did have breakfast at the hotel, it cost about £20 for 2 people. There was a nice range of continental food, however, the cooked food was limited to scrambled eggs, sausages and bacon. The coffee is very watered down, although this would be my observation of coffee in this area in general rather than the hotel!

The hotel had underground parking which was secure and kept the car out of the snow/cold. The hotel is quite far from central Koln but this meant we got to experience a part of Cologne that I expect many tourists don't see. There was a nice pub called Zum Krug which was about a 15 minute walk away. It is a traditional local pub but staff were extremely friendly. They kept the Kolsh coming.

Chair in our room was broken, room was a little small. Looks more run down on the outside than in the pictures. The location was grim but it's good value for the distance to the city. Could hear drunk people passing in the hall from our room which woke us a few times

The beds were comfy, shower powerful and hot, rooms very clean. Buffet breakfast was delicious and good value. Staff were great and went out of their way to help us whenever we needed. They all speak English.

The room, comfiness, beds, lights I didn't like it it wasn't like I expected to be. In the room there wasn't enough light in the room. In the room it was so warm. In the room there was not a air conditioning. We went out and closed the bathroom door for a several hours and opened it again it started to smell. When we checked out the room we left there our apple store bag where we had our new charger adapter and stuff but when we called there and asked about it they asked the house keeper and they said it's not there anymore but we know the fact we left it on the bed before going.

I have nothing to complain about the staffs they were so nice and that was the only reason I loved it to stay there. For the staffs I would give 5 stars. Good job guys.
