Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Everything was good.

Firstly, the bathroom could be cleaner. Perhaps a more thorough cleaning service could be considered. Secondly, the breakfast options were limited, and the bread was quite hard to bite, which made it difficult to enjoy. Lastly, the taste of the sweets could be improved. We dined at the hotel for both lunch and dinner. However, the food prices were steep and did not match the quality of the food. I hope this feedback is helpful for future guests.
The accommodation's location is simply fantastic, with its proximity to the zoo and U-Bahn. The added convenience of a ground-floor apartment made taking our furry friend out for walks relatively easy. The entire hotel staff was very nice to my 4-year-old son.

The room has a separate kitchen, but there is no kettle or coffee machine.
We arrived very late. At 12 00 at night. When I asked if we could leave at 12.00 noon,l was told that l needed to pay an 20 euros for this service. There is nothing in the kitchen except furniture.Utensils and everything you need must be rented at the reception for 6 euros.

Had a twin bed in the room instead of a double that kept moving apart from the other one. But was no big deal. Generally everything was lovely.
Staff were absolutely amazing and so friendly. Great location and close to bus and tube. Room service was great, breakfast was lovely. Great size room and the pool was clean and a great bonus.

WiFi not stable. Soap dispensers in bathroom hopeless to operate. Bath poor quality. Whereas the restaurant offers an acceptable choice and quality of meals, there are few alternative dining options in the neighbourhood.
Friendly and thorough reception. Classic breakfast buffet without fancies. Quietness throughout. Easy and free parking. Close proximity to U-Bahn and short travel distance to Hamburg City Center. Easy access from and to Autobahn.

I chose this hotel because they said they had a pool. My 5 year old son was very much looking forward to swimming in the pool. When we got there, they told us the pool was shut for maintenance. If I had known this, I would not have booked this hotel, I specifically chose it because of the pool.. I had to console my crying son for a while when I told him the pool was shut. They could have told me and given me a chance to find alternative accommodation with a pool.
I liked the food on the menu, nice cocktails, VERY nice breakfast. Great location beside the zoo. Parking too

Pool out of Service, early check out
Friendly, welcoming Staffel, empathy for kids and mom needs, loving Service and feel good homely setting. A lot of Space, natural light, right next to the zoo. Good for long Term stay and treatment, convention and family celebrations, vacation.

No kettle for a cup of tea etc. You could pay 6 euros to have kitchen items- but couldn’t be bothered for 2 nights. Would pay if staying longer.
Excellent location next to bus and underground links. Apartment very spacious. Slept well. The breakfast was excellent.

The rooms were large and spacious. The location is amazing very well connected. Right across the Tierpark. For a small fee of 6 euros they provide all kitchen equipment too.

It seemed to be a combination of a retirement home and an apartment hotel. The room felt a bit like a retirement apartment and was therefore not as "homely" or convenient as other apartment hotel rooms.
The room met our expectations. Good breakfast. Good location in Hamburg - particularly if you have plans to visit the zoo.
