The rooms are effectively box rooms. Toilet & shower facilities are shared on the floor. This is a budget hotel so don't expect anything out of this world. It provides you with a place to sleep that is clean and provides a breakfast should you want it which is perfectly acceptable. The location is within walking distance of the old town which is a definite plus. Parking facilities at the hotel are very limited but there are a couple of car parks very close by. All in all, it's very affordable and a great base for visiting Passau, just don't bring a load of suitcases with you.

What's not to like about a cheap, very convenient place to stay?

The concept of a no frills hotel, and they do it very well! The breakfast on offer was great and the view across the Danube from the breakfast room fabulous!

It is very close to the center of the city. Good for one night while traveling. The breakfast is basic. Everything was clean. Service was correct.

When people go to the toilet 🚽 during the night the shutting doors are very loud, echo along the hallway and naturally wake you up. Very poor sleep.

There is nothing, I would criticise.... maybe one thing - the plug-ins in the room could be beside the bed and not just at the entrance.

Good accommodation especially for travellers, who are along the Danube bicycle road (like me). The whole hotel and rooms resembles a ship. I would say, it was sufficient, but a little bit overpriced (45€ per night + 8,50 € breakfast / person) for the standard it offers - but probably due to the bicycle season, the hotel can afford it... But I would recommend it for those, who are passing Passau for 1-2 nights.

No major deal breakers but a bunch of small annoyances: The ceiling is very low I couldn't fit the showerhead over my head while standing up. The noise travels very easily in the hotel and you can hear everyone coming and going. The room was below street level with a small window at street level going out. It was a little disconcerting to see people's feet walk past at any time of the day/night. The window was large enough for people to squeeze through and right on the street, making it difficult to leave it open to air out the room(no AC or ventilation)

Room extremely small, almost a cabin. I didn't need anything bigger. There was some loud music (maybe form other guests) even during the night. Can't complain. Value for money was ok!
