In a quiet area and lots of green space but easy to get to on public transport. Great breakfast too.

The hotel is a bit outdated. Could use an interior facelift. Exterior has some charm. Pillows are flat. We reserved two rooms, and one of our rooms had the scent of cigarette smoke.

Staff is very nice and helpful. Convenient location to Friedberg. For one night, it was a perfect accommodation for sleeping and breakfast. Decent breakfast (served late, too!) with good bread choices, simple fruit, yogurt a few cheeses, eggs, bacon and sausage. Coffee was hot and delicious.

The internet was unstable in the room, just in the middle of the room was better, but the rest were great.

Everything was nice , the room was big for three person, location was nice and around the hotel was so beatiful. the only problem was the weak internet in the room.

No restaurant in the hotel. But fortunately there are some good restaurants near-by.

Since we drived to the hotel, it is nice to have free parking although there are not many slots (didn't try underground one). The recipsionist is very kind. Since there is no water kettle in the room, they let me borrow one. In addition, they gave us through advices on touring Freiburg.

The shower did not have hot water, there was a trick to get it a bit warmer, however this was only mentioned by the receptionist upon request.

The staff was very friendly. Initially we were in a room which had a strong smell of cigarettes, the room was changed immediately when asking the receptionist for a different one.

It was a bit hard to find parking as all the guests didn’t park inside the marked lines.

We needed a one night stop on our road trip through Europe. The hotel was easy to reach by car and the staff were flexible about a late check-in after the reception was closed. Everything worked and it was clean. Friendly staff. Breakfast was really good.

Old furniture but clean overall. And the bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly. Outside city center, so it was quiet in general - good for rest after a long day. Maybe a little bit overpriced but it was within the range in that region (higher prices in general).

Location is on the edge of town, possibly favourable if arriving by car from a motorway but one must interchange with a tram, then bus if arriving from the train station. The hotel does not have a restaurant and local dining and drinking options seemed limited and a 10-15 minute walk away. There is a good supermarket a 5 minute walk away and there is a small bar at reception for a night cap.

Large room, with sofa, desk, table and chairs and balcony. The room and bathroom were very clean. Staff were very friendly. It is right beside a bike path and bus stop to the centre. A nice natural setting close to a river with mountain views. I was able to leave my back in storage on the last day.

Could do with drink making facilities in evening. A little in need of some updating.

Unfortunately, this hotel’s restaurant is not open for dinner. With the full car park I observed (mid-October) I believe they could do well if a late-day meal was available.

All German hotels, in my limited experience, serve a very nice, substantial breakfasts. I very much enjoyed having a late drink at the reception/bar and chatting to the very friendly staff member on duty late Friday night.

A nice hotel not far from Freiburg. There is a free parking in front of the hotel. The staff at the reception was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and confortable.

I have asked a room with a bath and it was confirmed. But we were given a room with a shower. Had to go back and ask for another room. Unneeded hussle

Slightly old facilities

Staff was nice and helpful, although it is a bit far from the city center, it is easy to reach with public transport and the location os nice and quiet. There’s a supermarket and some cafes within walking distance.
