This is my 2nd visit. First was in 2017 and it was fantastic then. 2nd even better because they’ve added on to their property a whole new 2nd bldg with a wellness spa(sauna, steam and pool). The views are also breathtaking from the hotel. Location is perfect.

When we first entered, there was a terrible smell from the bathroom, but it was gone after flushing the water in the shower room.

The room is spacious, and the view overlooking to the lake is very beautiful. It is also located in a quiet area, and if one likes nature, this is a place to be. We were there during Christmas eve and had a great time. The breakfast was also pretty good in my opinion. We used the wellness area and also enjoyed it.

Amazing staff and property. We have nothing but good things to say about this property. We did not book a massage in advance and the staff was extremely helpful to get us one anyway. Spa was amazing and extremely clean. Great location if you have a car to all the local attractions. Try to get a lake view since it is beautiful.

The pillows weren’t great and the beds weren’t that comfortable.

The breakfast was great. Loads of choice and really lovely food, the resturant on site was also fantastic but it is worth booking a table when you arrive. The rooms were really big and the balcony looks right over the lake and to the castle. The spa was wonderful and exactly what you need if you have been travelling, walking or cycling in the day.

Everything was perfect

The staff was super friendly, absolutely professional and nice. The room was super spacious.The food was delicious and we really enjoyed the Spa area, which is open till 9 pm and we had the chance to relax in complete silence while outside was already dark and it was raining. Amazing atmosphere.

Cozy Bavarian hotel by lake Forggensee is so beatiful place for holiday. We had lots of fun - swimming in the lake, rent SUP, bikes, went rafting and visited famous castles. Very friendly people, clean and comfortable rooms. And rich choice for breakfast. We enjoyed the outdoor pool and spa. Hope we will be able to come again and hear your friendly Gutten Morgen!

We didn't find anything to complain about. Maybe I would recommend a mini fridge in the room.

Excellent and huge selection at breakfast, everything is fresh and delicious. The restaurant has an excellent chef and the food is very delicious. The pizza and pasta day is a good idea, the pizza is very good as if we were eating it in Italy.Very helpful, kind and always smiling staff, the waiters are excellent and quick to serve. Thanks for all.

The “double” bed is just 2 twin beds put together. The bed is very comfy but the pillows are not good.

Amazing hotel with amazing view! The room is big and clean, bed is comfortable. The balcony offers amazing views of the lake and alps! The wellness center is perfect to chill, there’s sauna, infrared room, big pool, shower etc. The views are also amazing from here! Staff is super nice, the restaurant is beautiful with views and parking is easy.

Nothing really but since you asked... Maybe additional coffee machine would be nice, because during the peak breakfast time there were sometimes long line waiting for the coffee maker.

Nice and spacious room with beautiful view to the lake (unfortunately weather conditions i.e. fog and rain limited the visual enjoyment). Dinner at the restaurant Excellent breakfast, it really keeps you going until your lunch or more. Wellness & spa. Friendly staff

Foggy!!! Lol!

Staff were all so helpful and actually looked to be enjoying their jobs, an unusual thing in the current climate! Room was good and dinner was superb! Stopped off on a motorcycle tour to Austra and think we may even go back the same way as the hotel was so good!
