Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AzerbaijanWhile the overall experience was pleasant, there were a few minor drawbacks. The room had quite a bit of dust, which was a bit disappointing. Additionally, considering the price, the breakfast was rather repetitive. However, despite these small issues, everything else was good.
This accommodation is a hidden gem! The location was excellent, nestled in a quiet and cozy spot with a rich history. The free parking was a bonus, and the interior decor really added to the charm, with its antique style. Highly recommended for those seeking a peaceful getaway with a touch of history.

BelgiumI can't seem to find anything.
If you are looking for a quiet stop on the way home, this is close to the highway and in the middle of woods. It is a very traditional building, very peaceful, good food and a very good value for money. We didn't had a walk into the woods but I'm sure it would have been perfect. Of course this is also perfect for a longer stay, we just needed a rest on the way home. Parking close to the hotel reachable in a very creative way, you will find out when you get there.

LithuaniaThe beds and pillows in the rooms we had were not convenient, which might be not the case in more expensive rooms.
Feel of the nature, family-run place, hosts and staff were very attentive to our needs, food in the restaurant was the best we've had in Germany. We were offered a garage for our motorbikes.

GermanyEverything was fine!
A beautiful spot in the woods where one could imagine living 200 years ago. The forest has many trails that one can follow. The breakfast was substantial and fresh. Hard boiled eggs to order. The room was small, but clean and quiet. Parking is free and just a 2 minute walk to the hotel. The staff was very friendly and the meal we had on our first night was excellent. Trying the cheescake is a must!

CanadaWow! What a Delightful experience that seemed so secluded with ALL of the immensities! Absolutely wonderful staff so helpful! Martin, Nina, Andrea and Doreen treated us like Family and they are a wonderful family as well. Not sure when they sleep as they always seemed to be there to accommodate any of your needs. And you have to meet Henry the Peacock!! We stayed in the “Peacock Room”! We were on our second honeymoon after 33 years and they made everything so Special. Thank you Dan & Tamara from Canada

GermanyThe access from the carpark is sort of an obstacle course. From the first floor it is an other staircase, corridor, bridge, 4 doors, several up and down steps. Once outside an other bridge and staircase up to the parking. There was access next to het hotel entrance door but nobody told us and most of the time this parking was used by eat in only guests. Again for us no problem but that would surtainly not be the case for everyone. Because of the lack of a kettle or balcony or terras you will have to relay on seating area's outside to enjoy the good weather. If you decide to do so, at about 11.15, and only wish a coffee with a stroodle you will be send to the "sin bin" where the coffee will be placed on the bench and the stroodle will be served on you knees. The bench itself is not a problem, as the tables wanted to be kept for "eating" guests. But only a small table would have been better. Then the little "niggle or giggle"... " do you want to receive our change back for our payment"... I would have offered anyway... but asking...🤭However, we have had a lovely stay had some very nice meals.
The building it self and location couldn't be better! The rooms were excellent. The meals and breakfast also very good.

United KingdomA beautiful hotel set in woodlands. Our room was much more modern than I had expected it to be. We dined in the restaurant, food and service were very good. I'm unsure if there was an elevator for anyone less mobile and watch out for where you park your car, ours was covered in muddy cat prints when we returned to the car the next morning.

NorwayI would have preferred to have chosen a vegan menu from the menu, rather than having to ask and find out is there anything and then wondering if there would be. We had a lovely vegan risotto but it would have been soooo much more comfortable for us to have chosen it from the menu, rather than having to ask and feel awkward. If we had been travelling alone we would not have stayed at your hotel as there was no vegan option on the menu. The only reason we chose your hotel was because our friends organised it. I have no regrets as it was a wonderful place, bit just so as you know. You are probably loosing a number of customers because of this.

NetherlandsParking space is a bit tight in terms of available spaces when it's busy.
It is a stunning location, quite isolated, located in the middle of a forrested area. The property has some historic background concerning the springs that can be found around the property. It's an ideal location for hiking and is still close to pittoresque neighboring towns.
