The restaurant in the evening missed a bit of music, atmosphere... The food was ok.

The restaurant was really disappointing. As others have mentioned, the service is just horrible. You have to go after the waitresses who are simply standing there just to get a menu and again find someone to take your order. Then the food came, and one Schnitzel was completely burned on one side, even the other waitress who saw it was surprised this was served to us. The other schnitzel had a watered down Jager sauce with it (never seen a Jager sauce like this) For the price they charge (25 euros per schnitzel) they could at least get one of the most simple dishes right and be more attentive to their customers. The walls are also thin as some have mentioned but that didn’t bother us since most people go to bed early.

The location, the swimming pool and the sauna and the view of the hotel were absolutely amazing. As others have mentioned the staff at checkin were also very nice and helpful. Sheets and towels were also very clean. Lots of great hikes around and nothing better than going to the swimming pool and sauna after a long hike.

Looked old fashioned especially the bedroom, the bathroom missing a small cupboard to put all beauty products and the light was automatic which took a long time before it went off - the room was also dusty - for a 3 star hotel the price was a bit too high

The staff at the reception was amazing and very welcoming. They made us feel at home and helped with any of our queries. But, some of the staff at the restaurant were not quite attentive to us. Many times we also got the feeling of being ignored. We might be wrong, but I cannot deny that the thoughts of being ignored because of our skin colour did cross our minds especially during the Easter dinner. We had to leave in between and walk away.

The property is beautifully located in the hills.

Would be great to have a water cooker, coffee machine and some cups in the room. Menu and info in the room should be as well in english, not only German. Staff doesn't know well English or not at all, so have your Google translator on hand. Basically the hotel should be more adjusted to non German speakers.

Location and view from the room are amazing. Great starting point for many hiking trails around. Also for quiet and relaxing break from life. Tasty breakfast and diner. I highly recommend this hotel.

The interior is a little dated.

The location is awesome. Great for hiking and relaxing. Close to Trier and just on the border to Luxembourg. The kids loved the small pool and the views wee extraordinary.

This premises allocates a fixed table per room for breakfast which is a real disappointment. I was not allowed to sit at the beautiful view of the window, while there were empty tables there. Free seating would allow everyone to sit by the window because people leave before others arrive. Also please give a key for the door at the swimming pool, so that we can sit outside on the deck chairs and still close the doors to keep the heat in the swimming pool.

For an apartment for 5 people, I would expect more kitchenware like wooden spoons, newer pans, heatproof mats, etc) as well as a 5th chair in the dining and kitchen areas (but you can just move one chair around).

The view from the aparthotel is stunning. The size of it (2 actually separate bedrooms, bathroom, extra separate toilet, living, dining, breakfast areas, kitchen and terrace! You get access to the pool, which the children really enjoyed. The restaurant had delicious food (loved the wild mushroom soup ad starters) and the service was great!

the bathroom could need some modern equipment the restaturant, dinner is nice, but the sitting arrangements very irritating, Table fixed by staff, very inflexible, do not keep reservations always.

Breakfast was nice but there is room for improvement. Also we felt that the fixed seating at the table especially in the morning was unnecessary.

The pool is very deep, with no variation. No kids pool either. Expensive breakfast and not the best value for money.
