First, strangers (other guests) can just open our room’s door and get into your room at 9:00 am. Second, the breakfast was 21 e/day/person (so expensive). Third, the room was smelly. Last but most important, there was no clear information noting us that we have to check out before 11:00 am. When I called and gently asked the reception if we could postponed 15 min, they said we could only do 5 min no more…

The hotel is advertised as the culinary art hotel. We booked it based on the fact that they have a nice restaurant. We were traveling with a baby and dogs so it was important for us to have a nice warm room and a facility like a bar and a restaurant. When we got to the hotel and asked why the lights in the restaurant are off, only then, they informed us it was closed for the week. The guy in the reception made no effort to inform us about that when I booked the room, even though he sent me a direct message about the charge for the dogs. He was quite rude and smirking about the fact we were not happy that we don’t have a place to eat. His reply was “ you can walk down the road to a different restaurant” - unbelievable, and we had to do exactly that with our baby, in the dark and in the rain, after driving 7 hours. Also, only then, he informed us there is no buffet breakfast. So basically, we paid for the room without any facilities in this hotel, the room was cold and the bathroom was freezing. The spider webs were all over the ceiling. No drinking water in the room either. Rooms are no soundproof so you can hear everything, the beds are squeaky and the pillows are extremely uncomfortable. To top it off they didn’t ask how was our stay at the end so clearly not interested about the feedback.

It’s meant to be a 4-star hotel with average rating of 8.1 but it’s more like a 3-star hotel with no 24/7 reception (closes at 11pm) and very old, very used, and poor facilities.

Excellent breakfast with a lot of choices. Beautiful big rooms that were newly renovated. Very good with our dogs, they got a treat and bowl in the room. Silent and peaceful at night.

The Photos Seem like they are photoshopped. The interiors are quite old, rooms are clean but don’t resemble to the pics. Parking was fine, and free as well which is good. There are different buildings of the property and it seems the interiors and amenities are different. It is your luck which building you get. We didn’t try the breakfast due to lack of time - would have been nice as the reviews seem impressive.

Staff were helpful and courteous, no problems with the language. Free parking, we didn’t have issues finding a parking spot. There are also electric charge points for cars - 2 of them. We were not lucky enough to have either of them available though.
