The apartment looked nothing like the pictures! There may be some renovated apartments at this address, but the one we had was clearly not one of them. Very inadequate kitchen area (check out the photos with this review!!). Also v little by way of cutlery and a strange assortment of plates. The place seemed old and desparately in need of renovation. Reception not very friendly, but other staff very diligent.

Well located for our specific needs- we wanted walking distance to the station as had early train on the day we left. There are a couple of restaurants nearby, a 'German' almost next door and a pizza place just 100m away towards the station. Both quite good. Generous with fresh towels.

Room was alright but little noisy at night like people were working downstairs. Location is excellent and walking by from central station.

As I said, it was worth every penny.

The room was clean and functional. I especially liked the shower pressure! The kitchen had everything one needs to cook and keep things cold. The women at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The location was brilliant.

Absolutely stank of cigarette smoke when we arrived. Took 3 days before we didn’t notice it. Shower attachment is hanging off the wall in the shower. Staff could do with some customer relations courses. I left an expensive shirt in the room, despite phone calls and e mails they were spectacularly unhelpful, I tried to tell them that it was on a chair out of sight pushed under a table in the bedroom, they just kept saying the cleaner found nothing. I know it’s there. Would I stay again? Possibly.

Decent sized rooms, good location 15 walk to train station. Quiet location. Small kitchenette with fridge and kettle. Plenty of hot water, good shower water pressure.

Payment in cash required while checking-in (I knew about that so I was prepared). Nearby vicinity of the hotel (pavements, road) are reconstructed, thus walking is not comfortable.

Basic but clean and comfortable room, ideal for an active traveller who wants to see Berlin attractions and does not plan to spend much time in the room. Distances: 800 m to Berlin HBf, 350 m to Aldi market, tram stop 100m. Silent place on the fourth floor. Berlin street and metro plan available.

It isn't called this anymore, all signs are for Central Hotel. It was rundown. Looked like someone had attempted to decorate and spruce up the rooms but it was poorly done. Wasn't as in the pictures. Room for four had only 3 chairs and a dining table for two.

It was within walking distance of train station and tourist attractions.

No name, or address on the building... Even the Taxi driver could not identify which building to which we should go. We had to ask at the restaurant, to find the bell to ring to call for manager.

The apartment did not correspond to provided photos. Two single beds were placed in the kitchen. Our apartment was not carpeted. no sugar, salts. Found the wifi quite unstable

Signage to actually locate reception very poor. Receptionist not welcoming or very pleasant towards us on arrival. Pillows were awful Uneven and squeaky floor boards and poor floor coverings Curtains not covering windows properly and not providing privacy Dusty and dirty lampshades on bedside lamps On 4th floor with 1/2 landings, so up 8 flights of stairs to apartment as didn't get the feeling the lift was maintained and didn't want to get stuck in it!

We didn’t get enough towels or bed linens for the 4 of us, we had to ask for them, but they provided them really quick. Also the shower was clogged and it was fixed until it was cleaned on the second day.

There was enough room for 4 people and we were allowed to check in early, which we really appreciated.

1. condition of the room is quite horrible, no renovation for, it seems, 15-20 or more years, feels like something from Soviet times 2. advertised as non-smoking, but there was an ashtray on the outside of the windowsill and strong smell of a smoked-through apartment 3. name of the hotel is different, something shady is definitely going on 4. personnel doesn’t speak English much, luckily (for us) they spoke Russian though

The water in the shower was draining slowly.

Excellent apartments, warm, cozy, have everything you need. Fully correspond to the description. Conveniently located within walking distance of major attractions. Friendly staff.

The apartment assigned to us is two bedroom apartment, but the second bedroom was located in living room with the kitchen and dining table, unexpected. Two burner electric stove can not be used at the same time or else electric power will shut down. Good for short stay. The place named Central Inn Hotel not as posted on booking com. Poor internet.

Walking distance to Berlin Main Station including tram and buses. The silence in the place, everybody can relax. Recommended per tourist. The lady owner is kind and approachable.

Above a road that could be noisy at night - but good double glazing, so it wasn’t so bad. Worst part is that although it is called <<Ark am Hauptbahnhof>>, in fact the sign above the door said it was <<Central Inn>>. We missed that sign and wasted 20 minutes trying to find the place. I suggest some changes!

Useful location 5 minutes walk from Hauptbahnhof. Old School/Old Style (c.1895) Berlin apartment feel complete with original parquet wood tile floors. Sensible price. Plenty of space. Our apartment had a balcony.
