The one room was way too small.

The breakfast was very good. The staff were great and very helpful. We rented 2 rooms, the one room we very spacious and comfortable, the other was very small and hard to move around. The location was perfect.

On our final day, we were the only guests in the hotel and when we went down for breakfast, we discovered that the the breakfast room was locked. There was no-one there and there was no breakfast. The manager later emailed me to apologise and to say he would refund us some money for the missed breakfast, but sadly that did not happen.

Charming hotel in a great location close to the river and just steps from the ferry docks. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and the beds were very comfortable. My room had a great view of the river.

Was quite noisy at night if on the first floor with windows open and people drinking in the restaurant downstairs. Would be nice to have a kettle and basic tea/coffee facilities in the room.

Bed wasn't very comfortable and breakfast buffet limited compared with others we had. Amenities like shampoo were scarce. The town itself was very quiet and restaurant selection was limited.

Lovely staff! So welcoming and genuine. Greeted with sparkling wine, so nice! They accomdated our early arrival by stashing our bags. Hotel was clean and rooms were large and spacious. View of the river was outstanding.

Beautiful hotel, exudes atmosphere, for example paintings with rural themes in the stairwell, exceptionally beautifully situated on the Rhine. Our large room had fantastic views over the river , ferry, opposite bank of the Rhine and "Burg Katz." Staff extremely friendly and speak several languages. Very extensive breakfast with lots of fruit, vegetarian on request.

It was very hot during our stay and we wished we'd had air conditioning.

Excellent location with lovely views over the river, and very near the railway station and the ferry. The staff were very welcoming and attentive and the terrace bar was open all day serving drinks and very nice meals. Excellent breakfast and coffee.

We enjoyed the staff so much. They were courteous, engaging, and exceptionally helpful. Our two night stay passed by too quickly. We enjoyed sharing our experiences of visiting the area with a wonderful member of the staff, Rhea (oh I hope I’m spelling correctly).

Breakfast selection was small and cheap quality. No traditional german food items where on the menu. Hotel was old and run down. Broken stair steps lead to the second floor. ( safety concerns)

The hotel was clean, but old and run down. The service personal was not trained, slow and unprofessional. I head to point out several things missing or broken. Missing towels, broken shower heads, etc.

Breakfast was low basic. Not really a selection, just basic, cheap cheese and cold cuts. Coffee maker was supposed to be broken, alternative coffee was bad. Eggs and sausage where in in poor condition and not fresh.

Room was in need of complete renovation. The whole hotel is unfortunately. We booked for 3 nights only stayed for 1. No blind or curtain on bathroom window which was interesting! No sound proofing at all which meant we could hear the night staff having 'fun' in the attic room! Noise from road was bad and constant trains going all night. We were not expecting 5 star standards but I would struggle to give rhus place 2 stars

The hotel needs an upgrade. New bathrooms will go a long way. There was no wifi.

The location of the hotel is very central and close to the train station. I had a good view of the river. The staff were very helpful and friendly. .

the staff were amazing. I arrived with my bike by train at 11 am and asked if I could store my bike. Yes of course but also they checked me in early into a beautiful room with river view. The property room and restaurant are excellent and it is great value!
