Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Please consider for a microwave oven or fridge in the room, it will increase the overall feeling.

Rather cramped by the old building especially the bathroom. No double glazing or air conditioning. Less comfortable than we usually find at the price point.

Everything was very good!

The staff were very friendly and upgraded us to a deluxe room. The room was big and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, especially the scrambled eggs and still warm pastries.

Room was on ground floor, looking out to car park. No net curtain so people passing could see in. Also room was very hot, could not leave window open, no latch so it would blow right open when caught with wind. Did ask at reception for a fan which was given and certainly cooled the room down.
Not too far out from centre of hotel. Plenty of free parking. Room was not in main hotel building but in one of the annex buildings on ground floor. Clean. Room was average size. Had desk and chair. TV, free WiFi. Separate wardrobe area for hanging clothes with drawers. Tea/Coffee making facilities in room. Small bathroom with shower. Underfloor heating. Fresh towels. Hairdryer. Breakfast buffet style mix of hot and cold options. Friendly, helpful staff.

A long walk into town or to any restaurants. Hotel restaurant is excellent though.

Just take care with the slippy mattress toppers. Mine kept sliding sideways and I slid to the floor on it on the first night!!
Room was comfortable with good facilities. Breakfast was excellent. Delicious food in the restaurant in the evening. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good parking at the hotel. Convenient bus to the centre of town and back. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and enjoyed Odense particularly the HC Anderson museum.

Facilities are basic (e.g., the shower). The staff is not always friendly, a 30-min. walk from town, prices is quite high for what you get

Room & bathroom with basic comfort. Very good breakfast with lots of choice. Location outside city center, but still at biking distance. We were able to store our car and bikes in a secured garage.

It was a little bit of a hike to get from our room to breakfast in the morning. Plus, my mom had to navigate the cobblestones in the rain, but we did fine. Only one outlet to charge our devices.
Dinner was excellent and reasonably priced. The breakfast buffet was also excellent and offered some nice gluten-free options. The room was cute with a view of the green space.
