The room assigned to me has a loosely fitted panel on ceiling, and was vibrating making noise occasionally.

If you would like to have buffet breakfast, I would strongly recommend Commodore class and book earlier (lower fare). This class allows earlier check in, free buffet breakfast in a separate restaurant (less people), with bottles of sparkling wine and water - if you add all these up, fare is not so much more than standard cabin.

Not a negative remark though, a heads up for first timers: Look out for weather and avoid rainy/windy season to avoid getting sea sickness when vessel encounters rough waves.

Excellent cruise that covers day trip and stay. Home on waters that sails overnight to another country, an amazing idea and surprised to see this offer in booking.com which not many would have thought while looking for an accomodation in Copenhagen. I was first looking for an apartment to stay for my Copenhagen visit and the suggestion from Booking.com changed my entire plan and made it even more beautiful and memorable. My family loved it very much and enjoyed every moment in the cruise. We also took the return trip from Oslo-Copenhagen and spent a day in Copenhagen. Its highly recommended for first timers as you enjoy the fjords view in the evening sun, which is mesmerizing.

The older lady in Copenhagen was rude and did nothing to aide me when I sought help. I have a hidden disability and I felt discriminated against me. The booking system is not compatible to families as it appears that only passengers whom book the Commodore suites are allowed early access they only accommodate 2 adults or 1 adult and a child

The facilities onboard were exceptional and there was a full entertainment experience. All communal areas were cleaned to a high standard and the staff were helpful and polite. It is an excellent way to experience two countries and I would definitely recommend this scenic route

Really fun way to get from Denmark to Oslo. Ship is nice we upgraded to Commodore which had nice window views and was comfortable. Went in jacuzzi. Beautiful views of the sea.

Room decor was quite outdated. Carpets across boat were well stained. Food in Explorers restaurant was tasty but too salty.

Plenty of activities on board. Lovely vibe and lots of bars/ restaurants to choose from. Whilst I didn't travel as a family, I can imagine the kids would never be bored. Plenty of free things to do too (which was most unexpected), e.g. shuffleboard, bingo, quizes etc.

It was a boat! Surprisingly comfortable room and bed for the budget cabin. Nice soft fluffy pillows. Travelling by ferry was super fun, the food was lovely, the entertainment was amazing- the band and singer were so good and charismatic. The view at sunrise from deck was beautiful. And it was from one delightful city to another. I would love to do this again.

Had to pay for wifi, it’s a small thing but did limit what we could do whilst on the boat. As I am on a budget, I wasn’t able to pay for so it would have been nice t have this free like the majority of places in 2024. There was also limited seating that wasn’t part of a cafe/restaurant so really did feel like they just wanted you to pay for stuff.

Loved it, good entertainment and variety of places to eat and drink. The outdoor seating was great and got to soak in all the views.

There were alot of kids running around and we paid to use the pool which was far too busy with toddlers in the jacuzzi and sauna but that's down to the parents not the DFDS staff. I would say just dont pay to use the pool. Other than that everything was spot on.

This ferry was amazing. Very clean and comfortable aboard. Staff were very pleasant. I can't fault this at all. I would book again in a heartbeat. Comfy bed. Great shower. Bargain price. The view as you get closer to Oslo is just stunning. Especially in the winter as the snow looks magical! We will definitely come back one day I really loved it. We paid an extra £40 for a seaview which I would highly reccomend as it was lovely to wake up to the view. It was so easy to organise the upgrade aswell.
