The "shower" was basically a shower head in the middle of the tiny bathroom, no door either. Also there were no hand towels and it seemed like the bathroom had not been cleaned in a while.

Very convenient location, we were able to walk to all of our destinations and never had to take a taxi or Uber.

I didn't like that there were no kitchen for the guests to prepare our own food. The lock for the box under the bed should be same size in all Generator hostels. :) I brought mine which I had bought in Stockholm and it was too small. The sink in the middle of the room is quite uncomfortable to use, since all the others must witness how you brush your teeth. :D

I liked the environment, the location and vibe in the hostel.

Comfort: I was there over the weekend and the loud bar music stopped only at 2am, like literally loud so you can’t sleep before that. It will not matter if you party a lot.

You should ask a room from the higher floors if you are staying there during the weekend- there are a lot of young people partying downstairs. You could hear loud talk from the terrace until 10 pm on weekend evenings because there is a bar and games downstairs. It didn't bother us much and we also had earplugs. Otherwise, there were no sounds at all from the other rooms or the corridor. The ventilation was a bit poor, but the windows could be opened.

Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The scenery in the backyard was beautiful. The sleeping quarters in the room were really cramped for two, but the bathroom was huge. I would recommend this for young folks who want to party or hang in the downstairs bar.

There is no shower cabin in the bathroom. Even if there is a curtain everything gets wet while taking a shower. But its acceptable if you dont care that

The room could've been cleaned a bit better, as well as the communal spaces (eg halls, reception area, etc).

The location is perfect, although don't expect too much in terms of comfort or cleanliness from a budget friendly hostel. The value-for-money proposition is definitely a win!

As I was in a mixed dorm, I wish there was a private area for changing clothes - changing in the bathroom is not the most comfortable experience, and in the shower the floor is often wet (plus neither have mirrors).

The lift can be a bit temperamental at times.

The hotel was very well positioned, close to the Metro and Nyhavn. Definitely a hotel for the young or young at heart, with a bit of a hippy vibe from days gone by. The room and bathroom were fine, with a good shower. It's a budget hotel, so don't over expect, but great if you're on a budget. They have a happy hour on a Friday after work, when dozens of business men and women pile into the bar after a week's hard work and enjoy themselves big time.

The bed was a major disappointment. It had 2 mattresses, which were still too small for the bed. Because of that, there was a hole in between the mattresses every time. Since it is not visible in the photos, mentioning such things in the description is better.

The location is pretty nice, we could reach everywhere on foot. The hostel has its own bar/restaurant and souvenirs to buy.

The breakfast buffet was subpar in taste and options in my opinion. The scrambled eggs were soggy and the coffee was not of my liking (tasted somehow staled to me). Decided not to have breakfast buffet again. The street to the front of the hostal was annoyingly noisy during weekend nights due to people drinking and talking loudly until late.

The location is really convenient. Check in and out was a breeze and the clerks very friendly. Facilities were clean and spacious. The game bar was lively at night which surprised me.

I could see it was a type of hostel but from pictures it looked more family orientated. This is perfect for youngsters who want to party until 7.30am but I stayed there with my 10 year old son. And felt slightly uncomfortable as I saw no other children. No air con and as we were on the top floor the room was very warm. There were windows however, as soon as you opened the windows you can here the partying outside. No mini shampoos and conditioners or body wash (a bit of a shame) Not ideal for children Room was small not a lot of space to walk around the bed

The room was very small and not the cleanest. The bed sheets had a few stains on them and the room was a little bit grubby overall.

The location was absolutely fantastic. So central to everywhere we wanted to go. Checking in and out was made very easy and we were able to leave our bags in lockers provided after checking out which was great.
