Dominican RepublicEverything was great. Dinner was expensive. Everything including drinks were a bit overpriced. The 28% service fee although standard, was on the high side. I tipped lavishly at the free breakfast. I did not leave an extra tip after detecting the 28% service fee on my dinner bill.
The front desk service was excellent. They went as far as to schedule my COVID test ahead of my return flight. Breakfast was great.

CroatiaThere were a few things in the room that needed fixing and the rooms we were in were somewhat dated. Also, the images I saw were part of the apartment rentals not of the hotel, so the rooms were not as expected at all. The front desk staff did try to get us some help on an issue and ended up giving us a discount because it didn't get resolved. they were amazing!!
The resort is in a great location with great beaches. The staff was wonderful and friendly and breakfast was really great.

The food was ok, but too expensive, the second day we went out to eat in the city and got much better food at a very decent price. Much better price than the food at the resort. The entire place is in need of a serious remodel/update and, maybe some hot water in the rooms would be nice, or at least informing us that there is no hot water. Staff was great though, no complaints there.
Check in was a hassle, need to improve on that. Breakfast was not bad. It was actually pretty good, although it was limited on choices to drink. That hotel is in need of some serious maintenance. Very poorly maintained and outdated. Couldn't even take a hot shower, no hot water. In this day in age, no hot water is rediculous. I mean, common really? My wife got sick for taking cold showers. This is not a third world country any more, that was maybe 30 years ago. To me, it felt like that hotel would not be open much longer.
