Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe main buffet waitresses staff working on the right side once entering the venue they need extensive training. The breakfast crew and dinner crew ladies. They were not pleasant, they weren't cordial, and they seem not to like working there. This should be unacceptable by your standards. The first few days My family and I ate at the main buffet but after going to the buffet by the beach and the other restaurants which we love and it was a much different atmosphere and all the staff were very professional and pleasant, especially the servers.
The room cleaning lady was superb! The entertainment crew and also the kids club they were superb. The different restaurant staff were very professional, the tall Pizza guy by the pool and the buffet by the beach Excellent crew very attentive and professional.

Trinidad and TobagoEvery minute someone is bombarding you trying to sell you something. It’s so annoying. Nonstop. Walked to the beach to relax & I had to tell one, at least give me a chance to at least sit and finish my drink please. Its annoying. Especially for person’s coming from high stress jobs.
Love the layout, location, comfort

GermanyI am regularly in the DR and all over the country people are doing everything possible to make the stay in the country, their town, their restaurant, their house an unforgettable stay But here good 50% (and surprisingly those with direct client contact- check in staff, waiters, concierge) were completely ignorant to clients and clearly bored of their job. I am traveling a lot like 200 days a year, have seen more than 100 countries, but this I haven’t seen outside Europe honestly speaking The food in the theme restaurant (haven’t tried the main buffet ones - which had good quality for breakfast as I can judge it), was rather disappointing maybe as I was taking the last table reservation time at 9.30 where I was mostly alone (although by opinion of concierge everything was overbooked ), staff was bored and meat (Spanish and Argentinian) was potentially the left over, fish in the Italian was kept warm from afternoon until my arrival after 9.30 I mean I think I understand the concept of All Inclusive (which I nearly never do) and I am blessed to eat out in fancy places regularly, but it was really in all three places on the lower end of what I have seen in the DR for almost 15 years Anyway, leave that aside as I understand the calculation of All Inclusive by the hotels, but a huge shout out to the hotel management - (1) put more people on the reception, how comes that a place with felt to be more than 500 rooms will do with 2 people and a slow and complex IT system (waiting time for 6 groups in front of me 40min), (2) it’s the first 5* since long that I was searching my room (it’s a huge area with some 30 buildings of 3 floors with 8 rooms each) and had to carry 2nd floor, no lift in the midday heat, myself.
The beach is great and wide pretty much off everything else, just the resort, unusual for PuntaCana. Still to the North many kilometers of beach to run, to the South beach and land undeveloped. Many restaurants, sufficient space (chairs) although the hotel was well booked

United States of AmericaI didn’t like how I wanted to check out a day earlier and they wanted to charge me for the extra day that I had booked. I had a family emergency that I had to get to and I felt like I shouldn’t have been charged for the extra day that I wasn’t there. The front desk was unorganized and they didn’t process my payment when we checked in then thought that we were going to pay them and then has security watch out for us. Then they locked us out our room and we couldn’t get my things.

United States of AmericaDidn’t like constantly be bombarded by people trying to sell timeshares or jewelry on the property or by random vendors that walked the beach trying to sell anything from monkeys to massages.
Property was beautiful, right on the beach. Staff was amazing. Especially Kenia at the dinner buffet, Manuel one bellmen and Ruth and Jessy with Exclusive. Also liked that because it was my anniversary they gave us complimentary champagne and decorated the room with rose petals and more.

United States of AmericaThe room was just okay. We stayed in a privileged suite that was supposed to have a stocked mini bar that would be replenished daily. It was actually a very old mini refrigerator that did not work. The only thing in it was 2 bottles of water and 2 bottles of soda. Everything was warm. It was stocked twice while we were there. We also were only given 2 towels, no hand towels or bath mat. If you are going to use a beach towel that they said is provided you will have to get there early to get one. The first 2 days they ran out before noon. Luckily we had brought our own just Incase.
The public areas were very clean and maintained. The privileged beach area was amazing. Food choices were also good. A lot of places to just relax.

United States of AmericaMost staff are nice at first, but if you ask for help or don't give a tip, they're not as friendly. The customer service seems good at first, but they often promise to fix things without really doing much unless you insist, tip, or wait a long time. For example, I waited 2 hours for new sheets even though I said it was urgent and I just needed the sheets, making myself clear that I will make.myself the bed. We also had trouble getting beach towels on 3 out of 6 days, and one time they said there were no more towels around 4 pm. These are just few examples and These situations can make the holiday unpleasant, especially for families with small babies like us.
The resort is expansive, offering plenty of activities. The privileged room I stayed in was incredibly spacious, and I believe all the rooms boast wonderful views. The kids' activities, along with the availability of small cars for transportation, make it family-friendly. As an all-inclusive resort, both the food and alcoholic beverages exceeded expectations, with the Christmas Eve experience standing out for its exceptional food, service, and shows. The beach, characterized by its wild beauty, adds to the overall charm of the resort
