he had guard dogs and they did lots of barking at night and we are not use to dogs barking all night

very scary to drive there as there was not much for a road but it was a nice place and Frank was a great host.

The environment around the property is unfortunately full of garbage, the fact Dominicans have to start addressing.

We paid the extra 5 USD for the breakfast and it was worth it. Coffee, juice, omelette, fruit ... all prepared by the landlord Frank. He was there for us all the day. He organizes dinner takeaway, we took pizza one day and chicken the next day, all with a nice bottle of wine. BTW, Frank is a certified sommelier so the wine choices are really good. The place is super quiet and safe (three dogs were protecting us :) - we smelled of our home dog and we were immediately friends ... The views of the nearby fjord and the steep beach cliffs are impressive.

More hooks, shelves and drawers in the room, please Frank ! One Caveat: guests should know that Frank does not accept credit cards -- but there is an ATM nearby for those who arrive without much cash.

Frank is an excellent host and a great help with tourist information and transport. He orders take-out meals for you and the fried chicken is definitely recommended ! The other guests were most interesting to meet and chat with ...

Frank was very friendly and helpful. He went out to get food for the guests so we didn’t have to venture out in the evening. Very comfortable rooms, great views of the sea and sunset from the terrace.

Difficult to find, the road in will be troublesome for low clearance vehicles or after a heavy rain, but that's not the guesthouses' fault. No aire conditioning but it wasn't necessary.

There is an amazing view, the host Frank is very attentive and friendly. The compound is very charming.

Frank was a wonderful host and the location is brilliant. Great views from the property and a wonderful star show at night. The beach is 10 mins walk or take the bus that comes every 7 mins, the supermarket is nice and close and you can cook for Your self. Frank is extremely helpful and nothing is too much. As every other review says, Frank is probably the most friendly and helpful host I've experienced and very down to earth that makes you feel at home. The view from the terrace, needless to say is just out of the world.

He welcomed us very nice and friendly, he showed us all available rooms from that we could choose which we wanted. The communication was excellent, so far the best experience in Dominican Republic. We took the offer to get his breakfast for small extra money, which definitely pays off. The breakfast was delicious and we could eat it on his balcony with Ocean view. His place is in a very quiet area. He did reservation for our trip to Isla Catalina for better price than the normal hotels offer. He was driving with us to the place for our catamaran trip, we definitely wouldn't find it without him. I would definitely recommend his place for staying.

The facilities need to be upgraded and renovated. The wifi was very poor. No AC.

There was a lack of cleaning everywhere (especially room and toilet), which made the stay very uncomfortable. Poor value for money. Location close to the sea, but not much going on at night around the area (car needed for everything)

Frank the owner was nice, helpful and available at all times. The roof terrace is peaceful, as you can hear the waves. There is a fridge with drinks that you can purchase, available breakfast to purchase. Parking included
