Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaI would have liked the shower to be hotter but I do like a very hot shower and this temperature might be ample for most people
Veronica, the manager of the apartments was very helpful and accommodating. She showed an interest in what I was doing for the day and offered ideas to enhance the experience The breakfast provided was great and catered to the individual needs which was a nice touch It was a nice touch by the hotel to refund the extra money I paid for a late checkout but didn't require it in the end due to the airline changing my schedule The apartment I stayed in was very roomy, had good cooking facilities, plenty of storage space, strong WiFI with a comfortable bed The apartment complex and individual apartment was very secure The location of the apartment was near where there are a lot of restaurants and small bars

FinlandThe facilities were all old but that told us the history.
Very friendly host, they try their best to let guests enjoy holiday. Local is a quiet area and easy to visit tourist attractions by Uber (3 $ to old town). Rooms are clean and comfortable. 24 hour reception is very convenient and safe. Wifi was smooth. A good supermarket was nearby.

This is an adorable hotel on a beautiful tree lined street. We stayed here twice on our trip to Ecuador. Both rooms were super spacious and well maintained daily by the staff. The owner, Veronica, was particularly helpful with our trip, informative and friendly. This hotel was like a home away from home while in Ecuador. I highly recommend it.

Charming rooms, excellent breakfast, great service and care by all staff. We stayed back and forth at this hotel , as we left Quito for some trips and each time we got back we stayed at a different room.

EcuadorWe loved everything.
This property is located on a very quaint street. The decor is very French and European style. Our hostess was a delight. Veronica made sure that we had everything we requested. The rooms have everything a traveler could possibly need. Lots of hot water, fluffy towels and blankets. Sometimes cool at night in Quito. No more than a $3 taxi to any point in downtown Quito.

Veronica - she's super helpful Oh, and the house, the room, and the location. Restaurants and shopping is minutes away by foot, and a visit to downtown is ~$4 with Uber. We were able to fit our car into their tiny 1-car garage - availability is very limited. Our dog also loved it.

United KingdomI loved the hotel's, situation close to Plaza Foche. The street it is situated in, is beautiful, with large numbers of humming birds and other species in the trees. The staff are amazing and will and can do anything to help during your stay.

South AfricaThere is a bit of a boom from the surrounding neighbourhood. Especially on a Friday night, it seems! I could still sleep, though!
Antinea is on the edge of La Mariscal in a pretty tree-lined street. The building is old and beautiful and full of little nooks and crannies.

United KingdomIt is quite far from the old town so just something to bear in mind. Although you do have other places in Mariscal nearby. Quito as a whole is quite sketchy so they do warn you about getting taxis over walking.
The building and the rooms had lots of character. The staff were very approachable and helpful, letting me change things around when my plans suddenly changed. Nice spread at breakfast too!

United KingdomIts best not to go looking for a restaurant after dark on foot. Many were not open at this time and the area around the main square close by does not feel safe at this time. Taxis to and from places makes the location work.
This is a superior small boutique hotel. The family room was magnificent, on different levels and with period touches. Breakfast was great and varied. The transfer to the airport in the very early morning was reliable and fast. The staff were responsive. Its on a 'European' street with solid security.

NetherlandsWe received a free upgrade for the room which had direct access to a small garden whilst our children could access the same garden in the adjacent room. Both rooms were really spacious . The hotel has a romantic, pleasant atlosphere with agood breakfast and nice places to relax both inside and outside. At breakfast we were offered, eggs, fruit, youghurt, croissants, juice, coffee, tea etc. Various restaurants are close by. The old town can be reached by taxi (or Uber).

United KingdomBeing picky but pillows too big for myself, beds comfy but pillows made it not a good sleep. Recommend having some smaller pillow options and then would be perfect!
We had the junior suite and were given option of which to stay in. Lovely decor and huge space to stay in with separate part of room for bathroom and dressing area. Even put our flowers in a valse without us needing to ask. We saw hummingbirds in the tree next to the window. The manager was extremely helpful. Lovely breakfast. Excellent value for money and good location.

United States of AmericaVery good location, within walking distances to restaurants and supermarkets. The streets are well lit. The place itself exceeding my expectations, it's an apartel rather than the usual hotel room. It has separate kitchenette, equipped with cooking implements and table wares; a seating room with a dining table; and an upstairs loft for a bedroom. There's also a smaller separate bedroom by the entrance door. The bed is comfy, towels well supplied. Several WiFi connections. Very clean. Reception is 24/7, gate is secure. Several public seating areas including patios and a 2nd floor courtyard. Breakfast is ample. The staff are very cordial and helpful.
