Our room didn’t have a window, so for multiple nights that was a down side.

Achmed was amazing! He showed us around and told stories about Luxor. He gives good prices for the balloonrude etc. It is really calm at the West bank, you only need to take a small boat of 4 minutes to the other side were it is more crowded. The rooftop and pool were really nice and clean.

Beware of the rooftop bar prices. The breakfast nicely varied but small and they try to charge you outrageous amounts when you ask for more.

It's advertised as spa , there's a jacuzzi and pool , no spa , not all rooms have exterior windows but the service was extraordinary and defeniatly made up for that , but if you're set on a spa , it's not for you

Breakfast was simple. I would have preferred an oriental, more abundant breakfast. The room I requested did not have the bathtub as indicated in its advertisement nor did it have the television.

Owner is very kind and helpful. Good breakfast at the rooftop (jam, yogurt, cheese, scrambled egg, pitta, salad, tea, banana). West bank of Luxor is much more Egyptian and less tourist-focused than the shiny east bank. Cold water but clean swimming pool in the courtyard. One minute walk to the shopping street or the riverbank where cheap boats take tourists to the other side. A littlebit village atmosphere around the hotel.

Breakfast was generous in quantity, but I would have liked a cereals option. And more variety with fresh fruit. The wardrobe could do with some hangers for clothes; the bed could do with a bedside table lamp.

The location is very good. It takes 2 minutes to walk to the river boats which cross to the city centre. ATM cash points are also just a 2 minute walk away. Staff were very helpful, and able to give good practical advice. They found me an excellent guide for my ancient history research - a practising archaeologist able to answer all my detailed questions.

The water stopped working randomly . The sink was blocked and would take a long time to drain

Location . Right next to the Nile, local vegetarian and vegan restaurants. The breakfast was nice and they have a nice rooftop which is great to relax on

The hotel and room were clean, the staff friendly and the breakfast good. The staff was really nice and helpful. Location is convenient, 10 min walk to public ferry, some local groceries shops around.

Friendly staff looked after us from pick-up to drop-off at the station. We received advice on which locations to visit and could book a driver and guide via the hotel. Lovely breakfast offered to fit with our plans (6:30 on mornings of our excursions and 9:00 when we wanted to lie in).

Can’t complain about much for the price. The pool was a little dirty but otherwise we were happy.

Such great value for money, West Bank Luxor is much quieter and easier to find nice food that isn’t buffets catering for the cruises. Next door restaurant was fantastic, and walking distance to the ferry to cross over which is really easy.

This is a guesthouse not a hotel or spa. That means you're staying in a very basic room with no facilities, which might be provided to you when you message the manager. Eg breakfast and electric kettle. Yes there is a functional pool and a non functioning jacuzzi. But the room amenities lists a dozen things, none of which were there in our room. Don't go by those lists. We stayed at a time when the place was getting renovated. Although it matches the pics, everything was dusty beyond belief. It got ok by the time we left. I would not recommend leaving valuables in the room as we observed that the staff enters the room when we are away, even if we don't supply the key.

Great location, two minutes from the ferry. Lots of decent restaurants around and a supermarket to buy essentials just next door. Good value for money considering how little the nightly rate is. The staff is polite, friendly, and helpful.

my penthouse room has two rooms but only one rooms has air conditioner. shower in bathroom is very weak and only soap is provided. if you need shampoo you need to ask. At night there were a of mosquitoes (Apr) so be prepared to be bitten all night. not sure if jacuzzi or swimming pool is ever used. doesn’t look clean enough for me.

location close to ferry pier (3 mins walk) comfortable bed and quiet environment. Hotel staff is helpful such as spraying mosquito repellent in room and fixing shower head right away when we requested. breakfast is prepared reasonably on time (30 mins later than expected is Egyptian “on time”).
