EgyptIn the restaurant sometimes the utensils were not enough and dishes were sometimes not clean ( I think the dishwasher was the cause) , on the other hand the food was very good and clean. Another thing I did not like was the door between rooms so if the family did not share the 2 rooms , it would be a disaster. Exactly what happened to my family, they had a noisy neighbour and were knocking on the door and you can hear them and that's affected the privacy.
The location , Staff and the beach were super . The room is big with good facilities, the bathroom was perfect, clean with good facilities

TurkeyQuality of coffee is too low for a 5star hotel, including the alcoholic drinks.
The complex is quite big, events and activities every day/evening, wide and clean beach. Room was clean, all amenities provided. Many choices of food. Thanks to Mister Abdallah from reception who helped us check in earlier and also the manager who got us a great room. Many thanks also to Quality Manager Iuliana who was very kind and came to check on us, getting feedback about the hotel and things that need to be improved.

United KingdomImproving the quality of WiFi routers may be worth it, even if it doesn't affect my vacation quality.
The room was clean and spacious with private balcony. The room had absolutely everything you need. By the way, photos are completely true. A big advantage was that towels for the pool or sea can be obtained directly on site. Moreover, the hotel area is also magnificent and picturesque. The food is varied and delicious, I liked everything I tried. Additionally, I want to note the professional staff, with whom we have no problems in understanding, so I am happy about it. The beach was well-maintained, with ample sunbeds available, and the flags were changed promptly during the sea state change.

decent buffet (no pork obviously and very limited beef options, but the rest is great), unlimited bottled water and very good coffee in the lobby bar, comfortable lounge chairs by the pool and at the beach, beach shuttle is great for people with reduced mobility. Massage in the spa was absolutely amazing

SwitzerlandThere is nothing really bad, but I would suggest to management to review room's cleaning and, probably, replace room towels, as they look a bit grey. So 9, not 10. Another minor thing for future guests, I worked from hotel few days and wifi was not very stable. However, comparing to other places in Egypt, it was much better!
I really enjoyed my stay in Calimera for several reasons: 1. Excellent people working there! Special thanks to animation team, restaurants and bars team, reception and customer service. Special gratitude to Mr Sulaiman, restaurant manager, who was incredible and always paid attention to hundreds of guests and their needs all the time! I went to the club with animation team and it was absolutely fantastic experience! I had few days of distance work from hotel and once had a problem with my computer and received very big support from local IT expert. 2. Placement of the hotel is super nice with direct access to a lovely beach. The beach is big, equipped with sunbeds, toilets and a bar. In terms of the placement, its not in the city, but easy to get from the airport by Uber - close and very affordable. 3. Territory of the hotel is very big, green and well maintained, there are several pools, including one big heated pool 4. I really enjoyed food, huge variety every day, always fish, chicken, meat, vegetables, snacks, etc... there are many guests, but there are always places to sit and regular food replacement. What I noticed that food was not very salty and spicy. Probably its a reason why some people complained about taste in reviews. But I found it beneficial, as everyone can adjust according to personal taste. 5. Guests are from everywhere, but all nice and friendly. It was lovely to see children from different countries playing together!

Special thanks to Mr. Sulaiman, the restaurant manager, and Mahmud from the reception. The hotel's entertainment team, also known as the "animation team," was outstanding. They truly made the stay full of laughter and entertained us from start to finish. Their enthusiasm and energy were infectious, and they really managed to create an atmosphere of joy and festivity. A real highlight during the stay! The hotel also offered a wide range of activities and excursions. From spa treatments to guided tours, there was always something to do. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a luxurious and memorable experience. Will definitely choose this hotel again when I return to Hurghada.

From the initial check in, my experience was 10/10 Here's a few reasons why - Had some trouble at the airport and was provided complimentary gifts to make up for it even though it was completely unrelated to them (huge shout out to Amr Soliman who made my day so much better from the second I walked in). - Every staff member had remembered my name and room number during the entire stay, showing how much effort they put for each guest. - Huge variety for the buffets (changes every day) with chefs walking around to make sure everything is perfect. - Great support with booking excursions to make sure I was getting the best deals with the travel agencies I was booking with (shoutout to Fahd Anber for taking the time to make sure I was finding the best deals) - I needed to leave for the airport at 5pm and Amr Soliman had generously extended my checkout without having to ask. - Also special mention to Nader El Sayed who was a delight to speak with when seeing him outside of working hours These guys seriously take care of you and I genuinely don't think I'll be able to find a better experience than this. Loved every second and will 100% be coming back!
