Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The rooms need a really good refurb and deep clean. Rooms look tired so could easily repaint fix furniture and floors. Air con stopped working after second night but to late to say anything at 11pm and fix before we were to leave.
Location was really good and not rough or scary at all, had no issues. Breakfast is really good. Reception service exceptional.

The bed and pillows were really hard, not too comfortable (although they had excellent all-cotton sheets). The room was rather sterile in appearance, clean and bland. Not a lot of space to put suitcase.
Friendly helpful staff, everyone speaks english. Staff gladly accommodated my request for a room change to a quieter room not facing the Rambla. The room was really clean, immaculate. Loved the location! Raval is a dynamic, international neighborhood, a real crossroads of the world. It felt very safe walking at night since there is always a lively street scene happening. Reviews that call the neighborhood "sketchy" are misunderstanding the nature of the place. It is not a wealthy area and not a "tourist" area, and there are many immigrants, but it's a great neighborhood. The hotel faces the central Rambla Raval.

Water is not free in a room . It’s just a joke . We paid additionally 30plus euro after a stay as nobody advised us that water and , as we thought , compliments are not for free.

Couldn’t get air conditioning working in the room
It was clean and easy to find, not far from the Ramblas, the staff were very helpful, advising of how to get places and recommending restaurants.

The bedrooms are to much hot in it, the WiFi didn’t work, it has a lot of bugs coming out of somewhere, the towels smells bad because of the way they wash it, some cards they give us to the room doesn’t work and the worst part of them all, is one worker that they have in the reception… the one with long straight hair that worked this too days on the late shift, she is rude, she doesn’t work with pleasure, the pleasure for her it’s to be rude and unhappy from behind the desk, really sad for her! Unlike her colleague with a dental braces that is lovely and super kind, making the clients fill like home!
The location of the hotel it’s very good, near las ramblas and you can go every from the hotel! The bathroom it’s big and they give us all the towels we need and more! The beds are good and comfy! Some of the workers are very friendly! The price it’s very good for what you receive!!!

Great location, 5 minutes from La Rambla and 10 minutes to the Columbus monument. Very comfortable room, great bathroom and shower/bath. All the team were very friendly and welcoming. Lovely breakfast.

The room was a bit chill in November. During the night and early morning, the neighborhood could be a bit unwelcoming.
The location is great, you can reach everything in the city. The room was clean and the staff members were very helpful. Thanks a lot! Good value for money from my perspective. The overall stay met the expectations.

Super noisy and loud neighbourhood. A lot of various food at breakfast, however some kinds of cheese were not very fresh.

A little old
Especially the location was very good. It was very close to the market place and the Rambla. The breakfast was excellent. Receptionist Sergio recommended us great bars and restaurants.Thaks for everything.

The rooms are small compared to the fact that there can be 3 guests in a room. This means that there is no room for your suitcase. We were 6 girls traveling together and when we were going out in the evening after getting ready for the club, the two male receptionists looked at my friend's butt a lot, they also looked at each other and smiled. This is not okay at all and actually very uncomfortable
I liked the occasion. It was very close to the center and good transport options with both bus and metro. The employees in the reception were also helpful. I liked that there was a fridge so you could put your drinks etc.

Although 5 min walk from the Ramblas, the specific spot is in an area with lot of drunk/weird expats...can be not nice in the night. We didnt have any problem but it can feel not safe..

Rough neighbourhood
The hotel was closed to main attractions but the neighbourhood was rather rough. We’re told not to walk on certain streets after dark.
