It was our second visit and we loved it the first time, had a big room in the upper floors with a great view. But not the case this time, a room on the first floor, very small and it did not feel the same as the last visit.

Great location, cafeteria is great to have at all hours and parking very comfortable.

We stayed a week earlier for a night on the journey down to south of spain and the room we had then was excellent, well appointed, modern and lovely bathroom etc. On this second visit a week later on the return journey we had a different room all be it for a slightly increased cost, it was very tired and dated and rather spoiled the good feelings we had about the hotel from the first visit.

Good location, staff were very good. Breakfast was very good and the bed was comfortable. Parking was good to have but the spaces are very tight.

There was no complimentary water in the room (cheap but great welcoming move)), the corner window was occasionally making an odd banging sound, though all frames were closed and locked. Ok value for money in Spain (though San Sebastián is obviously a bit more on the pricey side).

Location is nice walking distance to the center (a bit of a walk though), parking downstairs (additional fee), fast checkin, polite efficient staff, larger corner room overlooking the river, good bed, hot shower, fairly quiet.

No tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Restaurant and bar staff friendly and willing but some could do with better training

Car parking in the basement was accessed directly by lift from the hotel rooms. The hotel was clean and spacious. Check-in and out was quick and easy. Reception staff very helpful

nothing! everything was perfect. I guess if I was being picky I might have preferred that the hotel was located slightly closer to the town, but it was only a 10/15 min walk.

When we arrived we realised the room didn't have a bath - I asked at reception if there was anything they could do to help and they gave us the most superb upgrade to a room which had both a shower room and a bathroom. Fantastic customer service.

After travelling through 4 countries over 6 weeks, this was the only hotel that did not provide tea and coffee making facilities in the room, for the weary traveller. It was disappointing. The air conditioning was a bit old and was ineffective during our stay.

Location was good with restaurant, cafe and bar facilities.

The air conditioner was weak and it was stuffy at night. Despite the abundance of food, there were few vegetables and I didn’t really want to eat the same thing for 11 days. The room was cleaned every day, but until we reminded on the 8th day that the bed needed to be changed, they didn’t change it.

The room is good size, bright, with comfortable beds. Breakfast is plentiful, good coffee.

The location is a but far away from the center of the city. Around 20 minutes by foot.

The bathroom is incredible and the bed was very comfy.
