Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomParking is a pain in Seville, parking was arranged by hosts, which was fine and a fair price, though just something to consider if you have a hire car!
Very good location, handy for bars, exceptional restaurant (Az-Zait) nearby, easy to walk to all of the sights we wanted to see, very comfortable apartment, great rooftop space, plenty of places nearby to get food for self catering. Electronic pin-pads for entry worked well.

United States of AmericaA minor issue in the toilet that I am sure will be attended to.
Tania, the host, was very helpful in checking us in and going out of her way to come with us to the parking lot to make sure we could find our way there and back to the apartment. She also checked in with us afterwards to see if we needed anything. The apartment was well appointed and comfortable. It even has a washer/dryer combo that worked out well for us.

United KingdomNothing!
It was perfect for us. 2 nice bedrooms, extra pillows; a lovely bathroom with a great shower and lots of hot water and good sized towels; a spacious lounge areas and equipped kitchen with coffee and tea and an outdoor seating area. Very secure and in a great location. Some great places to eat on Alameda de Hercules just a few minutes walk (Duo Tapas highly recommended). We didn’t meet the staff but they were super helpful on email, WhatsApp and phone about parking.

United KingdomBeing very picky I would have liked extra cushions on the sofa to provide more back support.
I loved the apartment. We stayed for a week at the end of December, taking in New Year. The apartment was comfortable, stylish, clean and had almost everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen had fridge, dishwasher, washer/dryer, coffee maker, small hob and combo micro/oven. We used all of these and found no problems. There was enough equipment to make simple meals. Complimentary coffee, water, milk, washing and dishwasher pods were provided. Cava and grapes were an lovely surprise on New Years Eve. Check-in/out was straightforward and everyone was helpful and friendly. The lounge/dining-room overlooked the street with a lively buzz of diners outside Eslava restaurant. The bedroom at the back was quiet and comfortable. The bathroom had a large shower. Towels and soaps were provided. Cleaning was done on alternate days.

United KingdomCould not find a clothes airer so we had to dry our clothes on the handles of the mop and the broom, balanced on the dining room chairs! Not a problem but it would be a handy addition.
The apartment was well equipped and it was lovely to have coffe and tea and milk available from the moment we arrived. The tapas bar staff downstairs were always very helpful getting us a table for dinner if we mentioned that we were staying in the apartment- which was a huge bonus!

IrelandSome extra rails/pegs for damp towels would be good, although in fairness, our hostess told us we could ask for fresh towels any time!
Lovely, helpful hostess who dealt with everything for us, and very nice, efficient cleaning ladies. Great to be able to park our car in their garage - naturally we paid for this service, but it was easy and convenient. A doorcode instead of keys made things simple. The apartment is in a great area with lots of places to eat, pretty view over the church and easy access to the centre of Seville. Our hostess gave us a city map detailing areas of interest which helped us make the most of our time there. Plus a very comfy bed and a great shower! Dining at Manola Leon restaurant round the corner was a treat, we also loved the bar/restaurant beside the church in San Lorenzo Square.

Property very clean on arrival and is cleaned every 2 days. Well appointed with all that you might need incl washing facilities and iron. Aircon works well. Easy access using key code. Communications with Eslava management very good and clear. Nice restaurants nearby, esp Espacio Eslava, reservation recommended as a queue develops early. Many other good restaurants nearby.

AustraliaJust a few things, not necessarily bad, but just for completeness. 1. The parking is a 5 minutes walk from the hotel in the parking lot of a sports centre, and arriving there involves navigating some tight spots. So a small car is preferable. 2. The apartment was overall clean, and well equipped, but we had some ants in our bedroom which may upset some people. 3. The location is very close to a church. You get the full experience of an old European town, with the bell ringing to mark the hours even during the night. If you have a light sleep, you will be able to track the time through the night by the number of bell rings.
These are very spacious apartments, with a full kitchen, washer/ dryer, and essentially all you need for a longer stay. The living room had a sofa and table, TV, and the bedroom has a built in robe. I think they were excellent value for money and would return if I needed to go to Seville again. The location is in the old town, close enough to the city centre to come and go if needed, just a short walk. Walking to the Alcazar and Cathedral (major attractions) is through a series of pleasant shopping streets. The host was very attentive. She was there available at the time we arranged, and came to meet us outside and to guide us to the parking lot. Instructions were comprehensive and even when we could not fund the wifi password (after hours) she promptly answered the phone and helped us.

United States of AmericaGreat location to all the sites and monuments one would like to visit in 3 or 4 days. Easy walking everywhere. Lots of great little restaurants in the area (check out Espacio Eslava that is downstairs). The staff was very proactive. There was a problem with the shower door in our bathroom that the staff told us about a we checked in. The door repair was more extensive than anticipated and we were upgraded to a nicer apartment at no cost.
