this is not 5 star hotel but best case 3 star motel. ugly and very dirty and should price 5 times less

It’s location is awful, did you the hills you cannot walk to the beach. You have to get taxis, the hotel will call a taxi for you and even give you a voucher between business hours but it’s no good if the taxis don’t turn up and they do not like the voucher system. There should be a taxi rank outside the hotel for a 5 star experience which this is not

I liked the room, it was very expensive but having our own pool was an advantage

Manager incredibly unhelpful. Penalised for listening to their advice. Ants everywhere and on pillows. Parking inconvenient. Breakfast gave me food poisoning.

Breakfast was included in our room rate, however it was nearly impossible to get a table. We was not told by reception staff to book in advance when we arrived. We did one day order the breakfast boxes - they never arrived. We were then lied to and told we didn’t order them, when we had proof they did. Nothing was done to rectify this and we went hungry. I asked for veuve champagne to be in the room upon arrival, and whispering angel in my friends room. This did not happen, not effort was made to help me celebrate my stay despite them knowing in advance it was a celebration holiday. When I called reception regarding the champagne, I was told, “well Cava is the same!” Not apology given. I had to go down to reception and discuss this with a manager. When we did go to breakfasts, we were often greeted with rude stuff, upset that we hadn’t booked, despite the fact most tables were empty. I fed back to management my disappointment in my stay and have to say they dealt with it very well, and was most impressed by their responses to my complaints. Despite all of the above, I would return to Baobab Suites. I do stand by that my experience was 4* rather than 5.

Finishing touches and attention to detail. It doesn’t quite live up to the price of 5 star rating. You don’t feel particularly special despite it being a relatively small hotel.

Plenty of space and light, the private pool and area is a bit of a treat.

they had limited seating in BB lounge for breakfast, the breakfast in the sports club was not great and not ideal for 5* hotel. the breakfast box were extremely generous but also wasteful.

the pools were amazing plus sun decks overlooks the bay. clean and well spaced.

There was a loud adult party at the beach club, which is owned by the hotel and across the road, on the Sunday night. It played exceptionally loud music until 12am. Apparently this was for Halloween. Our two-year-old could not sleep. We were told by the rude reception staff that there were signs up to say it was happening but we had not seen them so they must have been easily missed. Guests should have been very clearly informed individually. Either way, for a hotel which targets itself at young families, it was a bizarre thing for a hotel to host. It let down the whole stay. We found the reception staff to be rude and abrupt throughout our stay

The suite facilities were excellent for staying with a young family. The bar staff were friendly and excellent

Some rooms sold with sea view only have lateral sea views. I recommend avoiding ground floor rooms if you want real sea view.
