The restaurant was not operational which was a disappointment, but the hotel's central location meant we could eat at an excellent restaurant close by.

Lovely traditional Spanish decor with a homely ambiance. Huge room and en-suite but retaining a cosy feeling. Enormous and extremely comfortable bed. Staff went the extra mile to make us feel welcomed and valued. We would not hesitate in staying here again.

The hotel was at the center of the town. The room was spacious enough for two. Parking space requires additional 5 Euros. Kind staffs.

Well the truth is we didn't stay at the Can Xim they could not accommodate us so our rating is for a hotel close by.Kika the lady from the Can Xim was great she waited for us,took us to the New hotel and made sure we were fine..so very pleased with that service .We stayed at the can Bien suites

A shame the restaurant was closed.

lovely hotel situated on the square. Beautiful house and garden with pool. Sadly the restaurant was closed but looked stunning. Such a shame. The owner was so helpful and recommended places to eat etc. We ate up the road and had a lovely pizza meal with delicious wine. We only stayed one night to be near the airport and there was a singer and dancing in the square which was utterly charming if a little noisy as our room was at the front. But it did not matter and stopped at 12.

Location is fantastic. Right in the beautiful square of Alaró. Rooms are spacious and absolutely spotless. The bed was huge and comfy. Amazing shower. Beautiful, peaceful pool area. The evening menu from the restaurant is well worth trying. We dined two nights in a row it was so good - definitely one of our favourite meals of the holiday. We weren't able to get wifi in our room due to some outage in the village the days before we arrived, however, it was easily connected (and fast) in the common areas. Very convenient parking if you reserve and a delightful body of staff to make your stay comfortable. We would highly recommend Can Xim and the gorgeous village of Alaro.

Everything was great.

The hotel is situated in the city square. Still it is a quiet place where you can taste the local atmosphere. There are many local restaurants nearby. Breakfast was served next to the garden and swimming pool. Wonderful.

Air conditioning was weak- took all night to get to 22 deg C.

Location was incredible, parking parking parking via a private lot. Pool was great. It was wonderful to encounter all of these great amenities in a hotel that faced the main plaza for the town.

The stairs are a little steep and as it is an old building there is no lift. people with mobility issues may struggle

The hotel is charming with comfortable spacious rooms. The breakfast is good, served overlooking the pool and garden. The pool area is tranquil. The restaurant has a good selection of delicious food and all the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The only flaw I spotted was lack of pool towels and sunbeds by the pool

Excellent family run hotel by Kika on front of house and her father cooking up delicious and very tasty food. Appealing characterful building with quirky rooms and all exceptionally clean. Beautiful garden with a pool to cool off in. First rate breakfast served by friendly and efficient staff despite not speaking English - which is, as an English visitor, our problem not theirs! Hotel located in centre of quaint small town of Alaro convenient to easily walk to local restaurants and bars and only 30 mins by taxi from Palma Airport
