Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

There is free parking within 5-mins walk but the car park can be very busy making it hit or miss if you get a car parking spot

Lovely modernised property in Santa Catalina. Very clean and well appointed. Good outside space and free taxi to property from airport was a nice touch.

The house had everything we needed for our short stay in Palma. It was exceptionally clean and spacious with outside areas. The location was within an easy walk to the city and Santa Catalina areas. We would definitely like to come back.

We were a group of 3 and only stayed for 1 night. The host Jeroni is probably the nicest man in Mallorca. He took care of our luggage before check-in and after check-out, he helped with finding POI and arranged a taxi for the airport for us. The house itself has everything you would need. 2 rooms, 2 bathrooms, perfectly equipped kitchen and a big terrace at the back. I would certainly come back here.

Everything was excellent!
Jeroni was waiting for us when we arrived at the accommodation. Even before that, he was extremely friendly and asked when we would arrive, how we would arrive... After handing over the key, he also sent us a bunch of attractions and good restaurants. He made sure that we had everything provided and that we were comfortable. The location was great, we parked the rented car without any problems. It was also an excellent starting point to all the attractions of Mallorca.

sparkling clean, spacious, great for couples, friends or family with two separate rooms and bathrooms. Great kitchen and outdoor dining area. air con was excellent and very needed in the heat of summer. incredible host who was very kind, thoughtful and gave wonderful recommendations. highly recommend!

The drain in the one bathroom had a slight smell but when plugged in and water running not a problem at all - easy to overlook.
Located a short walk from fabulous bars and restaurant. Very clean, Host was extremely helpful - bath and beach towels provided alongside a plethora of information about the area. Spacious and comfortable for a family of four. Lovely little courtyard area to unwind in the evening. 2 en-suite bathrooms!

Everything was great.

Wow what a lovely place to stay, exceptionally clean and comfortable with a nice outside area. They even provide beach towels should you need them. The host was very welcoming and was happy to provide local information. We would highly recommend this for any stay and we shall be returning.

Everything was really good. To even make it awesome, maybe just better pillows otherwise it was a perfect stay.
Jeroni was a very good host, he was quick to respond and act on our requests and also gave recommendations where to eat. The apartment was really clean, spacious and with a lot of useful spaces. The apartment was also not too far from the historic center and access to the port was easy. The air-conditioning in all rooms were really cool too.
