The restaurant menu was limited to what was being served and as a result we weren't quite sure of what we were going to get although it was good.

Very nice cottage style units at the back of the restaurant with views overlooking the rural setting. Right along the Camino path. The restaurant staff were very attentive in the somewhat formal dining area (reservations were suggested although it wasn't busy when we were there being early in the Camino season). The menu was very good although specific to what was being served that particular day, more of a set menu style. It was nice having a full unit with separate bedroom area and a sitting room at the front with galley style kitchen and fridge and table. The sitting table and chairs just outside of the unit in the central courtyard was pleasant.

The hotel is listed as being in Lavacolla, but it is actually in Vilamaior -- about 3 km farther along the road.

This was an unexpected pleasure. The hotel has rooms that are like little suites around a courtyard. The main building has a restaurant for lunch and another, much fancier, restaurant for dinner. Very good food -- quite a bit higher level than most of the restaurants we encountered on the Camino. But also more expensive.

I had trouble working out how to turn down the heating in the middle of the night but that is more my fault for not asking first! Problem solved by opening up a window.

Lovely staff, good sized room, very comfortable bed, everything a pilgrim needs including great heaters - very useful for drying our wet gear. Perfect location for a last night before an easy walk into Santiago. Excellent food.

A really pleasant surprise. A beautiful location, really friendly staff, comfortable and clean rooms with comfortable beds and a good shower, and to top it all an excellent restaurant with a fine selection of food and wine. Even better was drinking a cold beer in the garden as the sun went down. It's just a shame that we were only there for one night and had a very early start for the airport in the morning. Would definitely stay again. Probably the best value for money on our whole trip.

I stopped here in 2018 for a coffee and recorded in my notes at the time as a future accommodation recommendation. It did not disappoint. The Casa is very tastefully decorated with rooms demonstrating great attention to materials; natural woods, cement, stone, contemporary colour palette etc. The staff are particularly warm and friendly and the courtyard setting with tables outside each Accomodation is congenial. The great surprise here is the quality of the food on offer. My daughter and I enjoyed tagliatelle/prawns and scallops to start, with turbot and black rice for me and hake for her as mains. The food was seasoned to perfection, was top quality and artistically presented. It is clear that the owners here work very hard at providing a quality ‘foodie’ experience with no pretensions. The owners of this business deserve continued success! I highly recommend and hope to return 10/10
