Great central location, a wonderful quiet oasis with a charming court with a fountain. Very friendly and helpful staff. To be fair, not a lot of facilities like gym… but very pleasant with amazing commnateas.

We were hiking the Camino de Santiago and really liked this hotel. It is located in central Astorga and the cathedral is about a 5 min walk away. Staff were all excellent and the bedrooms was amazing (although we did book a Suite and why not for Euros 135 including breakfast!). The bed was incredibly comfortable with top quality bedding & nice pillows. The hotel is an old house which has been lovingly restored & renovated in keeping with it's traditional style. There is also a lovely outdoor area & seating in the garden. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The wifi wouldn’t work for us and the tv wouldn’t switch on.

The location of the hotel is right on the Camino Way and also close to Astorga’s sights. We enjoyed the ‘olde worlde’ charm of the building itself and were made to feel welcome on arrival. The room was really spacious and the bed comfortable and everything very clean. We didn’t eat at the hotel so can’t comment on that aspect.

Beautiful old place with a lot of character. This 230 years old place was a family home and you feel well in it. The staff makes you feel like home. (For ex they don't make you pay upon arrival as I paid just when I left). Delicious breakfast that was worth waiting until 8 am. It is not so much more expensive than some albergue we went to but much better than the traditional few stars hotel. Just book it...

Only one very minor criticism: the pillows could have been softer and we would have liked two. But, the hotel was so delightful we were happy to overlook such a small oversight and I’m sure had we asked we would have had the pillows changed. We only stayed a couple of nights, we would have happily stayed longer but we were on our way home.

This is a fabulous small hotel, a home for over 300 years which still retains all it’s traditional features. It is like stepping back in time into a previous era. The staff are friendly, there is secure parking and it is perfectly positioned for exploring Astorga, an easily walkable town, to view all the sights of which there are many. If you are looking for a peaceful hotel full of character where guests are treated respectfully don’t hesitate to book Posada Real Casa de Tepa.

Elegant old hotel with beautiful sitting rooms, sun rooms and outside gardens. Beds were comfortable, it was quiet and dark and there was a beautiful deep tub in our bathroom! I could have stayed several days! Our host was gracious and kind and said that he was the eleventh generation to have lived in the home.

This family home built in 1790 has been in the family for over 230 years. The property is truly unique and its location directly on the Camino and within steps of the Astorga Cathedral and the Bishops Palace. As you walk around the courtyard and family home you become a part of this homes history.

First you are staying in an old home used during the Franchise/Spanish War! The home has been preserved and the rooms are all updated with baths and A/C. Breakfast was great as well as refreshments in the garden. Absolutely wonderful!!

While the receptionist told us we could park in the blue-lined spots on the street, he did not tell us payment was required; we accrued a hefty ticket as a result. This is our only complaint.

We loved this facility and it’s interior. Location was superb, we were able to walk to the sights we wanted to see and the restaurant. The breakfast was good and there was a self service honor system bar in the courtyard.

Excellent location. A very historic building with very comfortable lounge and patio areas. The host is an 11th generation descendant of the original owner, was very attentive and ensured that we had a most enjoyable stay.
