Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Czech RepublicDue to the historical protection our apartment Aguia Real (2 rooms and 1 bathroom) had windows only in one room (leading to the public dining courtyard) and the other room and bathroom were not ventilated (no window or mechanical air extraction). With 4 people it caused a small problem. The rooms were separated only by a curtain. The apartment would serve much better for only 2 people. The app for gate opening (Hoomvip) was useless. We tried to register and when not successful, we rang the bell. We recommend to all guests to avoid it and ring the doorbell. The owners are there most of the time and will give you the gate numeric code in person.
We felt extremely well in the internal yard with tables for dining. It had a really good atmosphere. We were told the property has a very long history (if I remember well from the 16th century). The owner (Elena) and her father were really pleasant and friendly. Elena spoke very good English and was very helpful. The breakfasts included homemade cakes and jams. We enjoyed it every morning. The room was always very well cleaned with lots of towels and bathrobes. The house was within walking distance of some restaurants and the sea. Very easy parking on the property land. There was a swimming pool but we did not use it. The owner had good wines on offer (own production or other Spanish). Dinners were optional.

GermanyThere was nothing to dislike, just some remarks. The room (actually, almost a little house) only had a small window and did not have much natural light, but there were plenty of lamps which provided enough light. The breakfast was not a buffet and, as it is usual in Spain, it consisted mostly of sweets, fruits and carbs. However, I recall they offer more options for a surcharge. In any case, everything was delicious. A car is recommended to get here and visit the area.
This is a gem of a place! Run by a very nice family, the hosts are extremely friendly and helpful, we felt welcome and at home as soon as we arrived, it has a very familiar atmosphere. The house itself is very charming, in the middle of nature, with a big and relaxing garden, a pool and a new sauna and jacuzzi. One can rest and disconnect without leaving the area. Our room was huge and clean, with a good bed and bathroom. We also got a toilet bag as a welcome present, which was a nice touch. The breakfast was home made and tasty, with fresh orange juice, home made cake, fruits. galician bread toast and tomato, served directly by the hosts to our table. They were very attentive and made sure that we did not leave hungry. There is a nice beach on walking distance (around 10-15 min). If visiting the area again we will come back here for sure.
