Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

After a long day on the Camino, we were greeted by Marie-Carmen, who is lovely and hospitable. She made us an incredible meal, and showed us to our room. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The two women who served us breakfast the next day were also so sweet. This was our favorite stay of the Camino!

A beautifully restored property with a lot of quirky features. Our room was spacious and bed was super comfy. Shower was amazing - one of the best on the Camino. Immaculate clean! The property is a little walk out of town (few minutes) but we loved the fact that it was away from busy town as we needed rest after day of hiking. And the next morning you can easily join the Camino again. We were the only people staying that night and two lovely ladies opened the on site restaurant especially for us and cooked us a delicious dinner. As we were leaving early the next morning they gave us everything we needed for breakfast (and lunch!) - bread, ham and cheese, yogurt, orange juice, jam, fruit etc. Amazing! Highly recommend!

Dinner cost more than the room! While the meal was really good, I was a bit surprised when presented with the bill it was around 80 euro. Yes, we shared a bottle of wine; however, we've been doing so across Spain in similiar accomodations in larger towns, and the bill wasn't that high. Just be prepared. It doesn't stop me from recommending, just be warned.
Great shower! Really nice staff -- very welcoming. Nice room. Comfy beds. We enjoyed our stay. Good breakfast.

Perfect little pension with a wonderful small bar and restaurant. The owner was very helpful and friendly. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. Breakfast was excellent. At the edge of town within minutes of rejoining the Camino.

Warm and incredibly welcoming family business!! Me and my partner really enjoyed our stay here. Mum and son duo really go above and beyond to make your stay special!! I would highly recommend staying here if you want a quiet and tranquil stay. We left really touched by there hospitality and kindness 💙😁

A couple of small things but really not worth talking about.
We did just stayed one night while walking The Camino, we really liked the location as it sits back away from any people or traffic noise, very quiet. Super clean and large room with 2 balconies. Not much going on in this town so it was nice to be able enjoy a GREAT dinner in the on-site restaurant then right back to our room, great Camino choice.

Location was about 15-minute walk to the restaurants in town if you arrive after meal times or want something different. Next morning, it is about 10-minute walk to get back to the Camino de Santiago.

Casa Neboa is a fantastic rural Casa on the edge of Negreria! The room was comfy and well appointed. The restaurant offered a great supper and breakfast was simple but filling. All in all a great experience.

A beautiful, tranquil oasis on the edge of town. Beautifully restored, super clean, super comfortable. And the staff are fantastic—made this solo guest a beautiful fish dinner. Super! Gracias!

staff,lady in the reception was rude and not friendly at all.- i feld very bad when i come there after 30km of walking,i had paid 75.- eur she acted like she was giving free.( no respect ) Such a shame for bad attitude,because the house is very beautiful. My advise: Lady try to smile a bit-you will feel better.
