To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomPet deposit. Over two weeks later I am still awaiting my money to be returned. Despite promises to say it would be paid. Beware of this and pay your deposit in cash, not by card. I paid 200 euros for the bond. The room was checked before I checked out to confirm it was ok to have the refund.

FinlandThe evening "restaurant" was not nice. No ambiance whatsoever. Felt like a student cafeteria in the hallway. However, OK to get your fill if you are not up for hitting the streets. Also staff was not very friendly, seemed overworked (this was February). The pool was not open due to lack of water in the city. Can't imagine that changing anytime soon. Would be nice to update that information on the booking page.
The hotel was overbooked, so I was initially moved to their sister hotel. Was able to return to an upgraded room the following day, since the other room was not satisfactory (very noisy right next to the elevator). Good quiet location close to a train station with connection to the airport. You have to walk a bit to reach nice restaurants, but basic choices are to be found nearby. Good breakfast, could even order an omelet.

CanadaNo complimentary coffee or tea in the room. Not even a bottle of water. Stayed at 4 hotels in Spain and this was the only one without a beverage inside the room. Breakfast was kinda steep at €16 per person so we didn’t try. Walls were thin so we could hear lots of conversation from the other room. Bathroom was dated and shower was not comfortable.
Very close to the metro and R lines. Lots of cafes and good restaurants nearby.

Very clean, very friendly staff. The location was very good, it took us 15 minutes to walk to La Sagrada Familia. I was worried about the noise as I read some reviews saying that it was noisy. We were all day out and came back late night to the hotel, didn’t hear any noise.

SerbiaWe have no major complaints. We missed our flight, so we stayed a day longer in Barcelona. We paid extra for one day's stay in the same Hotel. It would have been nice if we had received a discount for that day as guests of the Hotel.
The hotel is located between two metro stations, so from this location you can quickly reach the city center and all tourist attractions. The staff was extremely friendly. The WiFi quality was satisfactory. The room was spacious and functional.

SpainThe gym has some equipments without maintenance like the only spinning bike they had and one of the treadmill. I asked for repair it if possible, they said yes but never did it. Maintenance personnel are not so kind. I was alone at the gym and in a very bad way this person asked me to turn the music from my phone off, which was very low and I was completely alone and the TV wasn’t working.
Good area close to everything. Very clean and personnel in the counter very kind and nice. Really valuable to have a kettle in the room, tea, coffee and cookies
