I felt like the walls were very thin and there was no noise isolation from the outside or inside noises.

Sadly there weren't a lot of toilet facilities - there was only hand soap, no body soap and shampoo. Also as mentioned, there's no 24/7 concierge (understandable, it being a guest house) so there's no added convenience of leaving your bags there after check-in / check-out if needed.

The room was very clean, bed was comfortable, it was a good size for a solo traveller! Staff spoke Spanish mostly and very little English (which was fine), and they were all really pleasant and friendly. Very seamless check-in and check-out experience, though I couldn't leave my baggage behind on check-out as there is no safe area for you to do so should you wish. Best part was the location - it was so conveniently located around Salamanca (really close to Goya station), and lots of nice bars nearby! Would definitely live here again if I'm back on a solo trip.

Nothing a such but just a noise early Saturday from cleaning lady like there is no one sleeping in the rooms... i came back late night and didnt have my earplugs with me so was mad about the noise

Location is 30 mins by walk to the El Retiro parc and 40-50 mins walk to old city. Using Uber/Bolt is easy and cheap. Clean simple room and bed. Lift.

The location is good, near the public transport. There are shops around and plenty of places to eat. Everything was ok.

Perfect location and quiet yet very near to main streets and shops and public transportation.. room was comfortable, Receptionist Sandra was very attentive best value for money I've seen so far in Madrid this season.. I would sure stay there again .

All was good, but keep in mind there are several Alcantara streets in Madrid ) We first went to the wrong address, and it was at night, so keep in mind.

The room was good: very small, but clean. We arrived late, so the automatic check-in was very useful.

This cheap hotel is great value for money - most notably the bed is extremely comfortable. The receptionist is very friendly, and the rooms are cleaned daily. The location is ridiculously good. Super close to 2 major metro stations, and with buses, supermarkets, and other stores nearby.

the manager of the property was one of the kindest people I’ve met in Madrid. on my second day I had a huge problem and she went out of her way to help me (including bringing her brother so maybe he’ll be able to help). I can not stress enough how kindly and helpful she was during my stay.

Nothing. Everything was according to (or even exceeded) expectations and price range.

The room is definitely worth the price! It is decently large, clean, comfortable beds, large window with a tiny balcony, quiet neighborhood. Also I appreciated the bathroom: large enough, clean and nice. In the evenings, it got cold outside, so the heating was working, and that was a great plus, because it was really nice to come from wet and cold outside in this warm and cozy room. The location is also good: 400 m to the closest metro station. The lady from the reception was very kind and helpful. I attached to this review a picture of the room and other of the view from the balcony. So, I definitely recommend it as a price/quality option for Mardid.
