To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

We were satisfied with our stay at the hotel. Its location is great, close to the beach, park, and the Gothic district, and the nearest metro station is very close. The breakfast was tasty and the personnel very nice and helpful.

Czech RepublicThe rooms oriented on the street can be a little noisy. There was also a mould in the corner of the bath and the toilet brush is missing.
The location is just perfect! You are basically in the historical city center and 10 mins walk from the beach. Room was nice and spacious and well decorated. Beds are very comfortable. Just like on the picture.

United States of AmericaIf you have a 3 bed room be aware that the beds are next to each other so you have less space in the room. The A/C unit does not work and you are not allowed to adjust the A/C in your room.
The breakfast was nice and worth the value you pay for it.

The hotel is clean, staff very welcoming. The best thing is location - beach on the one side and El Born with it’s vibrant atmosphere on the other side. Also the beautiful Ciutadella park nearby. Breakfast was sufficient.

Location for access to the city was great. Our room was facing an alley that was below average. Breakfast was excellent, the area and decor was also excellent, the ladies running the area were amazing. The parking garage was very nice, there was a young man named Roberto who ran the fron desk was outstanding and kind.

United KingdomThe air conditioning took a while to cool the room and when really hot outside it's best not to open the windows/doors to the balcony if you don't want to wait a while for it to cool again.
The rooms were nice and we had a good view of the main street and sunsets. Breakfast was tasty with enough choices. The front desk staff and breakfast staff were always very helpful and pleasant. Good clean gym area. Close to the main train station, beach, Gothic Quarter... just a really good location for everything.
