They charged additional for tax of €30 for only a 3 night stay which we thought was quite a lot considering the amount we had already paid for the hotel. We weren’t made aware we would need to pay additional tax. You could hear noise outside of the hotel, vehicles and banging around in the middle of the night, it wasn’t horrendous but woke me a couple of times.

The rooftop area was nice for relaxing. Clean room. Provided water, tea and coffee which was nice. Walking distance to all major tourist attractions if you don’t mind a walk. Not far from a hop on hop off bus stop if you don’t want to do as much walking.

There was very little which I didn't like. Only small negatives I would have to say would be the bed, whilst comfortable it was one of those beds that was noisy every time you moved, and also had a noisy duvet cover, if you have had this before you will know what I mean. Secondly the hot choices at breakfast could do with being hotter, I dished out a plate of scrambled egg one morning only to discover it was freezing cold. But hey these are all small things in an otherwise fantastic hotel.

What a gem of a hotel. Arrived early morning into Barcelona and the hotel were kind enough to look after our luggage until check in time. This allowed us to make the most of our first day without having to carry our suitcases everywhere. The hotel was clean and modern and really looks the part. Staff were friendly and informative, giving maps of the city as well as a list of restaurant recommendations. The room was lovely, clean and well presented. Well equipped with a safe and a first I have seen in a hotel room a sperate safe which is just for your laptop....!! Breakfast was brilliant with a great choice of the usual cold meats, and some hot choices.

The air-conditioning in the room couldn't go below 19 degrees so it wasn't very cold in the room at night.

The hotel lacked a little charm and character, but this wasn’t a bit thing. Staff were efficient, but not so friendly. It might have been nice to have the staff ask if first time to Barcelona and offer some suggestions and advice.

Bright rooms that had everything you would expect for a 3 star hotel. Comfortable bed and great shower.

Some places needs to be updated as there are scratches, but it is a minor issue.

For such price it was a great place to stay - clean, comfortable, nice personel and quite good breakfast. There was refreshment drink in the lobby and some candies as well.

we had a room that faced the courtyard, which made it much darker than expected. Also the WiFi was quite weak.

There was mold in the bathroom and a lot of dust and mess under the desk.

Security entrance door, 24/7 check in, it was modern and clean and quite spacious.

One of the staff members was working under pressure due to the fact that many guests arrived at the same time and he was rude, he shut me off before I had the time to formulate any questions, just him. The rest of the staff was amazing.

The location of the hotel was the best. Everything was nearby and you could go everywhere on foot. It was very clean and the staff was very friendly. It was worth the money.

Window to the street could be more noise proof, staircase better labeled for general up and down walks to and from breakfast and to from outside. I prefer walking staircases instead of taking the elevator, for the sake of health.

Unfortunately the room was very hot, it felt like +25 degrees C, while outside it was only 16C. Apparently they have a centrally controlled heating system, so cooling the room was not possible.

The staff was friendly and the room was large and relatively quiet.
