The room was “non-smoking”, but it smelt of cigarette in a very heavy way. The shuttle was a very appreciated service, but the black van was very dirty.

There were no amenities inside the room - drinking water, toiletries. Staff said we can't request for jugs of water from the restaurant to bring to our room so we bought a 1.5 litre of bottle of water from the bar for 3€, which was only 55 cents in convenience stores. Also, the a/c wasn't blowing cool air in the room, probably couldn't cope with the 28 degree days while we were there.

We enjoyed our stay at Alexandre Frontair Congress. It's close to the airport (handy for our next flight), shuttle service was very useful. The room was spacious, clean and had everything we need facilities-wise. The bed was a good size too. Hotel staff were helpful and courteous. There was a pool and spa facilities which were extra services available for a fee but we didn't have time for a swim or soak. Breakfast buffet (extra fee) was good value for money with the selection on offer.

It's very close to the airport (for one night stay), It's close to Alcampo (Grocery store). The restaurant has excellent breakfast and excellent buffet for dinner. It has private parking (extra fees)

Our room was close to the lift so quite noisy overnight. Collecting our personal data upon arrival such as passport numbers was invasive & unnecessary.

The hotel was just "cold" and in no atmosphere. The restaurant is under bright lights and feels like a canteen. Good for a nights sleep close to the airport, nothing more.

Especially reception’s girls- they look very boring, don’t smile, with rude moves make check- in for everybody. When we tried to make booking for very early morning airport”s shuttle in advance, they didn’t make it. Then after 3 days, one of them said there is no availibility already, we need to run different time we need and so she can not do anything more and doesn’t want to talk with us. No any supervisor to look for them, so they act like tired girls in late night bar, but really not 4*stars hotel receptionists. The supervisor need to pay attention to such service and not to keep these girls. Also driver of shuttle missed pick up time ftom airport and was late about 30 minutes, reason- ?? because of police??, we caught cold waiting outside so long. Then after he tried to keep us in bus waiting next time, but we told him to drive us to hotel immediately.

Over all hotel’s conception is good, but staff makes it to run down. Rooms are simple, but clean. Hotel provides free shuttle to and from airport, but is it not running by timetable ( 2 times were later, 1 time in time). Hotel is very comfortable for short stay before or after flight. Nearby hotel there is free parking of shoping center, so it is comfortable to park rented car. Breakfast is simple, average in choice, but good enough for 1-2 nights stay. Spa looks good, with a fee, but we didn’t use.

Our advance question about the easiest option to reach the hotel from the city centre (main train station) was unfortunately not answered; ended up taking a taxi (about 15-20 minute ride, less than 20 EUR). We had asked for a twin as opposed to double bed (mainly to have separate blankets rather than one large one) but got double, with fairly thin covers/blankets - not uncomfortably cold, but could have been a bit warmer given winter temperatures (heating seemed to work, but not very strong).

Rooms were spacious, as a family needing two rooms, we were given rooms with a connecting door that could be opened between the rooms upon request, which was useful. Main asset: free shuttle to-from the airport (10-12 minute ride), no issues, easy sign up at reception and precise time table for arrivals communicated by the hotel upon confirming the booking. We could not try the breakfast due to early morning departure, but slept well and met helpful and friendly staff.
