Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The surroundings are not the best, but it has not much to do with the hotel itself.
The room is beautiful, the terrace very nice, we used the spa and hotels bar, everything was pleasant. The staff very friendly and helpful!

This year I booked the same room type like last year. but now there was no sun bed on the balcony. Last year I was able to pay by credit card, but this year I had to go out, use ATM and pay by cash, as the card terminal kept showing error. There are continuous reconstructions around the hotel, part of the sidewalks are blocked.
Nice spa in the hotel. Easy access to the downtown. Fundació Joan Miró, Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya are within walking distance with amazing view to the city.

Annoying that we didn’t know we’d have to pay to use the spa facilities. Housekeeping could be improved because we had a couple of issues with towels missing both days.
Lovely modern hotel in a quiet neighbourhood.

Missing table space and place to put things. Weird with no sink in the bathroom and no lock on the door. The view was not fantastic.
Joyful staff. Close proximity to city and transport. Really really good breakfast. Good beds and lighting - room in general. The big mirrors. 24/7 open.

We loved the breakfast. It was incredibly diverse and satisfying. We also found the location great because the metro station was close by and if we wanted to take a little walk, we could also get to the major sights within half an hour. The hotel staff provided excellent service and help if anything was amiss.

Nothing all good.
Great location, bed was very comfortable. Small rooms for city break it is fine. Nice park for walk close by that over looks the city. Staff were very nice and helpful.

Good location, nice spacious rooms, very nice breakfast. Restaurant not staffed adequately - food was poor, everything was undercooked & cold. Apart from our restaurant experience, we enjoyed the hotel.

The room was a bit dated and little small, but it was enough for our short stay
It’s a great location, close to the center but in the same time in a quiet neighbourhood. Very friendly personnel and we got our rooms cleaned daily. Nice that there are Rituals cosmetics in the bathroom.

Rooms were far too hot at night, even in March ! Aircon in room could not be lowered to below 20 degrees. It was uncomfortably hot in the room at night . Would not be good in the summer months, actually it would be unbearable

1. Really odd layout of the room. The toilet and shower are essentially stand alone cubicles within the bedroom. The sink is open in between the toilet & shower. It's a very odd set up. Probably fine if you're a couple or solo traveller. However if you're on holiday with friends - best avoided. You can see the other person showering from your bed. I asked to switch rooms and was told all rooms at the hotel are designed the same. 2. They have an annoying rule of not charging anything to the room. So when using the spa - I had to walk all the way back to my room after a massage to get my purse to pay. Same with the bar - must pay at the restaurant. Can't charge to room. Very unusual.

Wifi quality is not so good.
The breakfast is very good. We really enjoyed it. The room is quite nice. The wifi qulitiy should be improved within the room. The location is very nice if you want to enjoy the beach side of Barcelona. There are some nice restaurant closeby. Lidl is also at the cornor so that it's quite convenient.
