It’s outside the old town so you need to walk for about 10 minutes to get there. It’s not that far though

The restaurant was closed but there was a good one right next door that we ate at.

I liked the location. You could walk to everything easily. We had a room with a balcony which was very nice. When we came back from touring there was a bus load of kids checking in and we got worried about noise and breakfast in the morning but they were very quiet and didn’t see them in the morning must have gone really early.

The room was too hot and the air con didn't make any difference. I had to open the window, and it was very noisy due to construction work going on opposite the hotel (which went on well after 9pm), not the hotels fault but you did ask what I didn't like. The amount of paperwork that you have to do when you check-in was incredible, it has to the the longest check-in at any hotel I've ever stayed in. On booking.com the hotel accepts dogs, but in the print from the hotel they only accept dogs up to 10kg (mine is 19kg which they accepted) and you have to sign a waver for damage etc. You pay too much for your dog to stay (never really understand why) and you have to pay extra for secure parking. You cannot park right outside.

Travelling alone with my dog the location is always important. The hotel is outside the main tourist area, which is why I chose it. There is a small park right next door to the hotel or you can walk down the hill to the nature trail that goes for miles alongside the river in both directions. Lovely room.

Staff not particularly friendly. Kinda felt unwelcome. My bill was incorrect (over charged), it took 10 minutes to correct and no apology.

The hotel is nice, clean, big room and bathroom. Very beautiful lobby. The only thing I would say is a short walk from the old town, like 15 minutes, that dont seem a lot, but when tired from visiting, it is another story.

very elegant and space, with high ceilings, lovely fittings and furniture. A very lovely hotel. The hotel staff and particularly those on reception and the owner were welcoming, helpful and charming. Nothing was too much trouble.

The points below don’t lower my rating, but I need to mention them. - We paid 20 euros a night to have our dog and we weren’t allowed to have breakfast with him, AND we weren’t allowed to leave him by himself in the room, which means that we’d need to have breakfast separately if we purchased it (we chose not to). It would be nice if the hotel would offer free breakfast in the room for this scenario. - The online check in system doesn’t work properly and is very confusing. I think it was only tested with Spanish is cards, but that’s only my suspicion! I kept receiving conflicting messages in my Booking.com inbox, saying I was checked in and the saying that I wasn’t.

Beautiful hotel, very fitting with the looks of the city itself. The staff was very nice also! We had an amazing night of sleep. The location is also conveniently located close to the city centre, while still being easy to reach by car.
