Due to central location, we did hear some late night street noise from holiday goers. The balcony was small and fully enclosed with steel bars (but didnt obstruct the view at all or bother us)

The location was amazing, right at the Balcón de Europa, close to all restaurants/bars/markets. The hotel was located between two beaches and was a 20 minute walk to Playa Carabeillo. The hotel told us about where we could find free car parking on the street about a 10 minute walk away, there is an underground car park very close to hotel but was expensive to park all day. The room had a great view of the Balcon de Europa from the small balcony and the room was very clean with a large bottle of water provided on arrival. We stayed for three nights and the sheets were changed and fresh towels given during the stay. There was great security as you needed your key card to access the room floors. The shower was large with two shower heads with good water pressure. There was black out shutters on the windows, unsure if there was air con as we didn’t need in April.

We paid for breakfast but it had all been cooked together early so the eggs were overcooked so not enjoyable but a good breakfast selection The photos on the room description when selecting are not a true reflection. They show views of the sea and Balcón however the city views may be down the alleyway so not a good view

The room it was dark as the sun did not shine on that side of the hotel at all. We did request a sea view but there were none available. However the room was adequate for our needs.

The location of the hotel is excellent close to all amenities, our room was clean but a bit dark due to the fact that the sun did not shine on that side of the hotel. Breakfast was first class and excellent value for money Would we go back? yes definitely! in fact we are planning for October.

Everything was fine. Our economy room was a good standard, clean and pleasantly decorated. We slept well in comfy beds. Breakfast was good value though a little limited in choice. Restaurant meals were good quality and value. Location is really good - in the main square and close to the sea.

Keep in mind that the cheapest rooms don’t have a view - the windows open to a small inner courtyard facing other rooms’ windows.

The location is amazing - in the very center and right next to the sea. The room and the hotel in general is nicely furnished and clean. Staff is helpful.

As above for 113 & 107: Bad smell in room 107 No kettles put in rooms Hard pillows in both Workmen entering room without being notified 107 does have noise till midnight plus from bins, tables, chairs etc. 113 was facing side street and quiet

The location was excellent. Everything in the main bar and restaurant areas were clean and nicely presented. The meal and food we had was very good. Lovely selection of wine. Good lift to room and security good. Our room was basic 113 but nice. Pillows were hard. Bottle of water in room was nice. Shame not all bedrooms have hot drink facilities. Our friends room 107 was quite small and had nice view across the square. They had a very smelly odour from bathroom which no staff mentioned- next day work was done on their bathroom to replace the toilet which was not mentioned again or permission given. The smell came back so must be drainage issues which is a shame. Again their pillows were very hard and had to ask for 2nd softer pillow. I did ask for kettles in both rooms but only one was supplied after being mentioned.

Very dated with old fashion furniture. Dreary ambiance No fridge or kettle in room. I didnt have breakfast but had toast and hot water one morning. I dont drink tea or coffee. But i was charged 4.40 for hot water. And when i questioned it the waitress said that is so (Im never charged for hot water even at an airport) i dont mind paying a euro or something but 4.40. Its the principal of the issue really. Expensive for what you get as a solo. I found much nicer and better value in Nerja afterwards

We were enjoying watching a pigeon family feeding a baby pigeon in a hole in a tree outside our bedroom window for the first few days, however the third morning we were horrified to see someone up the tree stuffing up the hole with polystyrene and presume the baby pigeon had been removed. We dont know what happened to the baby but presumably it was destroyed? All the knot holes in the trees were being filled in this way. Im no sure if this activitity had been sanctioned by the hotel or the local authorities but it was very unpleasant to witness this. We understand pigeons can be a potential pest but a more humane way of dealing with this could surely be found without destroying nests.

Fabulous location with the room overlooking balcon de europe. Check in very easy with friendly receptionist. Lovely and clean. Kettle and cups was provided after we requested it. We didnt have opportunity to try the restaurant as it was closed season.

Our keycards didn’t work for the last 2 days. Everytime we wanted to leave or re-enter the room, we had to go across the street to another hotel to gain access. Reception in the hostel was closed.
