Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

LuxembourgThe bedrooms have little to no sound insulation so a quiet night is a matter of luck, depending on how quiet your neighbors may be. I always found bedrooms excessively hot, there's an A/C unit inside bedroom but I never managed to make it work as no remote is provided, although I also never inquired staff on this matter.
I've stayed more than once at this hotel. Location is perfect, I usually get there by metro - Liceo is 1 min walk away. When leaving at not so nice hours, at dawn, is 5 min walk from plaza Catalunya from where you can take Aerobus. And, besides transportation you're literally in the center of Barcelona. Staff is super nice and attentive.

United KingdomThe parking is a big problem, because they did not tell us anything and we drove on some very tiny streets. The hotel should give advice about the parking on booking.
The location is amazing, close to everything!

United States of AmericaI did not like the fact that it looked more like a hostel than a hotel. The room was very crowded and we were 4 grown adults and the room had bunk beds it was hard for 60 to 70 year old adults to climb so one had to sleep on the tiny little couch. I would not stay al the Palermo again.
The location was very good and Paolo was very friendly

United States of AmericaI wish all rooms had AC as opposed to having it turned on at the front desk. I ended up sleeping with the window open so air temperature was not an issue.
I was a fan of how modern the hotel was. It was simple yet made the rooms seem far cleaner and welcoming. The balcony was a nice touch.

United States of AmericaThe walls are paper thin so if you are a light sleeper, bring your ear plugs! Since this is a vibrant city, if you are looking to go to bed before ten or hate getting woken up in the early hours by returning party goers this isn’t your hotel.
Great location, really close to everything.

CanadaThe one very minor complaint was that there were some somewhat noisy neighbours - but it wasn't bad; even if you're not loud, at night the sound will carry.
Great location, very friendly, accomidating & helpful staff. This isn't a complaint, the room was small - but that's the norm in many European cities, especially if you're in one of the older areas. I'm just mentioning it so that anyone planning to book here is aware. I was fine with it myself.

AustraliaOn the first night there was a party somewhere outside that was noisy and went late. Second night the outside noise seem to settle around 11pm. Then the room next door clearly slept with the TV on all night and it was hard to sleep from the noise as my bed was up against the joining wall. So noise was an issue for me. In hind sight I should have reported it to reception instead of putting up with it.
Fabulous location - meters from Las Ramblas. We walked to most of the main attractions and close to train station for other attractions. Felt safe at all times. Desk had 24 hour staff. Great value for money for a short stay and you would rather spend money on other things. Beds comfy. We also had access to a terrace but in a 3 bedroom room with only 2 people . Room was very small so I would imagine a normal double room very small. Would stay again for the value component so i could spend my money doing other things - you mostly only need your room to sleep in and have a base.

SpainThere is a flight of stairs at the entrance of the hotel and you have to carry the bags up, not fun. The decor and hotel colors are not very inviting.
The staff was kind and helpful. The room was very small but comfortable. We had the three beds with a terrace and the terrace gave us more space. It was nice to have natural light - not all rooms in this are do! The lobby has a table with microwave and kettle which is was nice.

United KingdomSimilar to other reviews the walls are very thin so you really can hear people in other rooms or in the corridor etc which was quite annoying when sleeping etc, similar to other reviews leaving your key at reception was also a bit odd but it was ok nothing got taken etc, finally the bed wasn’t the most comfy had broken sleep most nights
Very good location, staff were very friendly, was also worried from reading reviews rooms would be very small but for a couple or good friends it’s really not an issue as it isn’t that small

FranceI understand the comments about the rooms being small. I was all by myslef and i took a double one and it was ok. The equipment is not the best in the room but after all, when you're in Barcelona you're almost never in the hotel
Most of all, i liked the kindness and professionalism of the staff. The huys at the reception are the real deal. . Second point : the room was very clean 3d ; Itns located in the very heart of the city 4th : there's always someone at the front desk 24h / 7, which is rare these days ...
