Very nice pension in the quiet village of El Rocio. Close to bars, restaurant, church and museum. And close to tours of the National Park.

The hosts seemed completely hands off. Felt like we were intruding even with our best attempts at Spanish. Breakfast was confusing though the lad who served us was lovely. Just a smile and hola would have sufficed.

A unique situation, with very pleasant staff, and a lovely ambiance. Nice restaurant, with excellent and copious food. El Rocio is a very nice surprise, quite different but very interesting, the lake adds very much to the place.

the position of the Hotel is perfect in the middle of Town, and just 15 minutes walk away from the beach and 45 min from Harbour in Huelva if you need to take the ferry to Canary Island. The room got everything you need to sleep well. Regarding Covid-restrictions the breakfast selection was very limited. The staff took very good care of me to get my fill :) Also the coffee was always freshly prepared in a professional espresso machine & very excellent coffee!

We left early for a tour in the Donana national park and asked for an early breakfast to take away but the staff forgot about it and when we mentioned it upon return they didn't understand as they didn't speak good English and we didn't speak Spanish

there was quite a bit of machinery noise (refrigerator??) overnight, and the room was a bit musty. the bed was comfortable but not very wide for two

All was perfect

The breakfast is above and beyond! The most fresh croissants, bread kinds, cheese and ham, fresh seasonal fruits and yogurt, delicious orange juice and excellent french coffee. By far the best breakfast we've had in our entire 20-day journey. The place itself is a real jem, beautiful and spacious. Christine and her husband went above and beyond to make our staying the most pleasant one and we're very thankful for this. They really wanted us to have the best time, always the kindest and with sincere smiles. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The rooms are actually quite basic and the layout and fittings in the bathroom are poor. Sound proofing is pretty non existent, which didn’t help when the wedding party taking place next door continued till 06:30 in the morning. Breakfast was a farce with everyone queuing at the bar trying to get a bit of toast and coffee in the mornings. Apart from a few spreads in baskets there was no way of telling if anything else was on offer. The staff went about their business effectively, but being made to feel welcome was an ask too far.

The location was very central and easy to get to. The building from the front has a definite charm and the narrow courtyard at the back was pleasing to the eye. The dining room was also very welcoming and had lots of Spanish character.

I asked for 2 rooms with lake view. It was confirmed to us when I called . On the pictures you see bright rooms with big windows, full of light , but this is not true. In fact, only after I insisted, we were provided with only one room with some kind of view. Host told , that they have only one room like that. All others have window to gallery. Rooms are clean , but very small and dark. And it is normal for El Rocío. I just should not pay bigger price for this place, should not believe to photos. WiFi in the rooms does not work.

Noisy till 1am. Food expensive, instant and almost inedible, bed uncomfy, and breakfast minimal . Cost more than anywhere else on our trip for infinitely worse facilities.
