Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Czech RepublicIt is a pitty that the hostel doesn’t have rules for disturbing the night peace. It’s really not nice to be woken up after 2am by a known person of the staff staying in the mix room turning on the lights in this room. This was more than rude. In addition, staff shouldn’t be accommodating person who also have breathing disorders in mix room (I am talking about one person, but we know…everything what happened…it’s life)
Very good staff. The hostel is very close to Barca Sants(10min walk).

United KingdomNot within owners control, but the people in the room. Quite cramped room made for a lot of noise but the people were also noisy. There always seems to be that one person who wants the window open (if it’s you stop doing it no one likes you for it !!!) which led to outside noise. Also one person was smoking which was annoying
Deliberately chosen to be near Barcelona sants for travel so very convenient. Owners were lovely people, facilities were nice and clean.

United KingdomNot very clean. The bathroom is particularly grim. The bed is not comfortable but you get what you pay for.
Cheap and cheerful - you get a decent bed with a curtain to 'igloo' yourself in and private charge socket. It's a good location and the staff are helpful

Australia- A/C was only on from 11pm-8am. I like to sleep early and check-out was at 10am, so I would have liked to be more comfortable during those times. I was only informed of these times upon arrival. - the ladders for the bunk beds were not very easy to climb. You need to be very agile if you get a top bunk. - additionally, you don't get to choose a bed so if you are less physically able and get assigned a too bunk, I'm not sure if you have the option of changing to a bottom bunk. - although we had lockers, we had to hand the keys to the reception anyway, so someone else always has access to your valuables if you keep them there.
- A/C - 24H reception - curtains for privacy - toilets on every level - very clear information - good location

SpainThe rooms are too tiny to fit 3 bunkbeds and 6 people; the lockers are under the lower bed, not practical, so we all leave our stuff outside... more mess. The showers are on the underground floor, and breakfast begins at 8, too late to take early trains
Very close to Sants train station, and quiet quarter. It is a fully renewed house, all tidy and very clean. The staff are the grandpa and grandma, which is curious. it is a familiar bussiness, that i like

Australiaroom is near the lift which can be quite noisy at night, the door is also just a sliding door so doesn’t keep and noise out. very hot in summer before the aircon comes on at 11pm. showers have good water pressure and temperature but we’re not draining very well. only a very small kitchen, fine to keep things in but not for cooking. the hostel is fine but not as nice as some you can find these days.
good location, close to the metro to get to the Duomo but the also the area around the hostel was very lively and had lots going on in the evenings. the hostel itself is down a side street so is not too noisy from the street. there is aircon which works well but it was only turned on from 11pm, before that the rooms were very hot! (not sure if this was just a new thing due to all the energy issues going on these days). toilet and bathroom were kept relatively nice and clean for the number of people staying.
