The only thing I can criticise was that we requested the reception to call us when the car rental company we rented from picked up the car keys, due to some questions we had for them. Even though I gave my personal phone number to the receptionist they did not call us and we lost a lot of money because of this.

Breakfast was really good with a lot of different options. The pool area was easily accessible and had enough space for all the guests. Our room was clean and very nice, with a wonderful balcony overlooking the road below and all the way to the sea.

Basically it wasn’t ready! This only reflects on the management of this hotel, our room was musty, in need of a paint freshen up, too hot as the aircon wasn’t working and the swim up pool was dirty and had not been prepared after the winter shutdown, I could go on ….but will add that the floors in the restaurant were dirty, nobody had cleaned under them, plants were all dead, just a serious lack of pride, care and attention in what was one of our favourite places to take in a few days of R&R!!

Always loved it here and have visited since it was RD Mar de Portals,we have always enjoyed the location, Jamier at the pool restaurant is always attentive and happy. The standard of food is still very good, both for breakfast and dinner.

The hotel is located in a very nice and quiet neighborhood with a small and marvelous beach a few minutes walking distance. The breakfast and dinner buffets are excellent - the staff is also very friendly and helpful.

I would have like a bar for evening drinks rather than a section of the restaurant. Not a big problem though.

Good location in a residential area within walking distance of a lovely little cala with a great beach bar. Short taxi ride to Portal Nous - or a 20 minute walk. Breakfast was good with a wide choice of food including freshly cooked dishes. Not sure if we'd go for the 'swim up pool room' again, but the pools were great and the pool bar/restaurant was very handy. All staff were great.

Pool time was great - staff around pool and at pool bar were excellent. Always able to get a sun bed & lovely views out towards the sea. Room was spacious & comfortable, always clean. Location was as expected, the beach close by is divine. Walkable distance to some other great beaches & restaurants. Food selection in the restaurant offered great choice and was always delicious. Tania was a delight to chat with!

Excellent value for money. The rooms are simple but clean, modern and comfortable. The breakfast is fantastic, the pool area is gorgeous and it’s in a great location. Highly recommend!

However the entirety of the hotel is okay, not sure if it matches up to what you pay for. The pool areas outside are actually really small, don’t let the pictures deceive you. We didn’t stay much there and just went to the beach nearby because it felt like you’re right next to people. Can’t play music out loud, probably because of that. Everything is a little too compact in the outside area.

The rooms are nice. Clean. The local area is nice, building work was happening at the time we went, something the hotel can’t control. Beach nearby is nice, but make sure to bring shade as no sun beds, etc. I probably wouldn’t stay again, but it wasn’t all bad. Staff are nice and helpful. Breakfast was brilliant! The staff are on point with it all. Just hotel amenities could be better.

Some of the externals on the building are looking tired and in need of repair / painting. The dining room can get noisy when the terrace area can't be used.

Great breakfast and pool area, and the staff were all friendly, attentive, and seemed pleased to help. The location amongst some really great looking private villas is generally lovely. The nearby cove/beach is excellent although I'm not sure whether the sand there is natural.

The hotel could do with a little update in my opinion. We didn’t spend that much time in the room luckily but it definitely needed an upgrade. Also we felt that not all the staff there were or wanted to be helpful.

Its very close to the sea front and local restaurants. Its also a very quiet hotel which was lovely and relaxing.

The only thing I didn’t like was the fact that the hotel smelled like it had been smoked in (even inside ). The hotel should ban smoking from the property - very unpleasant.

Breakfast was excellent. Beds and pillows were very comfortable (I slept well). Room was small but clean. Pool area very nice and great drinks. Short walk to a cute little cove beach and a bit further to a bigger beach/ marina. About 15 min walk to the downtown area with restaurants.

I think the photos on the website make the hotel look a bit nicer than it was. It's still a great hotel though and we had a lovely stay. Shower temp wasn't great either.

I have a preference for the larger Croissant and Ensaimada - but taste was good of the small size Fresh selection available. Coffee from the Machines is Ok - prefer the Barista option if available. Charging 3.50 Euro for 500 ml of their own sparkling water I think too much. Buy Your supplies in Supermarket - 83 cents per litre.

Costa area Adults Only was excellent = pool clean and never overcrowded - Generous Towel changes and bedding. Breakfast excellent, everything you could wish for especially Fresh Fruit. Parking is available on the road but can get busy, Bar Food looked good and was popular.

The building work was a real disappointment with our balcony facing it, hence it was dirty, However the staff managed to re-locate us but we had no balcony, it was only a few days so not so much an issue.
