This is our second time in Barcelona and hotel Azul was the best option I found. Location is great, close to the airport and the city center with most of the must visit places in a walking distance. There are also many public transport options. The staff is friendly and responsive. There is a great terrace on the roof, if you have time to spend there.

No lock on safe... but helped by arranging alternative options.... would be a nice touch to have an iron available and kettle for teas & coffee in the room.

Friendly staff. Great accessibility, day & night. Had smart tv's great for smaller kids and even a fridge! Good location. you can access buses and metro within walking distance. Loved the terraced space. Choice of in-house breakfast.

Great layout for a family room, we were 2 adults and 3 kids. Lots of space for what we needed. Although not right in the center, it was very easy to get around the city.

The room was a bit noisy, you could hear all day the noise from the main street. For this reason, it was not possible to open the windows. On the positive side, the room has ventilation.

I wish this hotel will improve their breakfast. Restroom doors do not lock, so accidentally someone can open door during shower or wc things.

Breakfast was not so bad, let's say average. Great location, at least for me. A lot of public transport around, not far away from Fira Barcelona or even airport. Very helpful stuff. Even when I asked for invoice to my company - there was no problem. Sometimes this is not so easy :)

1. The walls are incredibly thin. I couldn’t fall asleep the first night because of noisy neighbours. 2. The thermostat was broken so I couldn’t regulate the temperature in the room. In addition I couldn’t open and close the windows.

The room was pretty basic; it could take some deco and comfy stuff. And the kitchen is rather poorly equipped.

Location is handy. The bus from the airport drops you some 50m from the hotel and you can get easily anywhere in Barcelona from Pla d'Espanya. We mostly used bikes and e-mopeds rented by the minute; they have a big station next to the hotel. Hotel staff was polite and helpful: when arrived, we left our luggage in their storage and went to do some sightseeing; as our booked room was not ready even when we came back, they immediately upgraded us to a bigger one. (we didn't ask for it) There is a nice roof terrace we could use; there was nobody else there.
