All of the personnel are very serviceminded! Fantastic roof terrace with view to Morocco and sun all day. Free fruit and coffee and access to drinks, based on mutual trust. Extremely nice rooms in the heart of the old town.. A peaceful retreat close to everything. We will for sure be back!

Very quaint little hotel. The rooms are large and beds are huge and super comfortable. When you are in the room it’s very quiet. Beautiful view from the rooftop deck. Breakfast is included and is fresh with a decent variety. Staff was wonderful, caring and very helpful

Tarifa is such a cute town and Kook is the perfect place to stay. Our room was like being at your room at home. It was super comfortable and sweetly designed. The breakfast was delicious and we really appreciated the coffee being out at all times. Our favorite part was Maria the hostess who was the kindest and sweetest person, she had great suggestions and she felt as though we’d known her forever. It really felt like a home away from home.

Access is difficult if you’re driving as it’s in a narrow street in the old town. Also parking is a challenge, but there is off street parking a short walk away.

Hotel was unusually quirky which made it feel unusual in a nice way. Staff were very helpful. Lots of good bars and restaurants close by. We used it as a base to explore the beautiful coastline.

The Kook Hotel is a true gem in the heart of Tarifa's old town. We only stayed one night, but we really wished we could have stayed longer. Everything is so beautifully decorated and the attention to detail is amazing. The staff was also super friendly and the breakfast in the morning was just delicious. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back if we are in Tarifa again.

The sole tiny mistake I would say in all of it is the breakfast. The cheese was bland, the bread was nothing special, and you had cheap, supermarket quality Italian ham. The fruits were amazing, the chia bowl as well. Everything top notch, but Italian Prosciutto? Really??? In Spain??? Get some regular Jamon in. I'm sure you can find some good one for an ok price.

Everything was exceptional. Incredibly cool hotel. Perfectly clean. Super cool design, without being over the top. Clean lines, cement design. One of the best hotels I've stayed with for this price. The staff is extremely nice as well.

one of the best receptionists I ever experienced; lot of excellent food-tipps; we liked the green wall in the patio; and the free stuff like coffee, fruits etc during the whole stay; pls notice that some rooms (like ours) just have a window towards the hallway, so people can pass by in front of it (we didnt mind that)

Stylish hotel and room with a lovely green wall in the main area and spectacular views from the rooftop. The old part of town is small so everything is within easy walking distance. We had a fantastic dinner around the corner at Silas 19 on the recommendation of the hostess. Breakfast was good and complete and it was so nice to have fruit, coffee/tea available all day at our convenience. Only there for one night, but would have happily stayed longer.

We loved the Kook hotel! Decorated funky in a very cool way. The mattress was comfortable and the room was very quiet with a nice hot shower and good water pressure. The staff were amazing, nothing was too much. The hotel is really clean and the breakfast was fantastic and really healthy. Coffee, flavored water and fruit was available 24/7 at no extra charge. The location was close to everything and only about a 10 minute walk to the ferry and beach. The roof top terrace was also really nice with a view of Morocco in the distance. I just wish we could have stayed longer!

everything was perfect and over the expectations. the hosts are super welcoming and a common kitchen with fruits and beverages is complementary with the stay. all the areas and rooms are really well designed and The fact that I am an architect specialized in boutique hotel (the firm is ovre.design) can confirm that. the room is cozy and detailed in every aspect, from the interior design to the comfortable bed to the beauty amenities you will find. Of course from the professional point of view I would have chosen some finishes differently but that’s a technical side that influences the hosts more than the clients. I especially appreciated the warm lighting effect, that makes you feel calm and energized at the same time. the staff is amazing, ready to welcome your request and to give you tips about the city. I ‘ve slept in hundreds of hotels in my life and I can surely tell this one (within its price level and clients target) is absolutely excellent.
