We liked that we could self-cater in a well equipped kitchen. The view and outdoor space are beautiful. Good restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance. Underground secure parking provided but also easy and safe to park in the street.

The house is amazing so many wonderful touches absolutely everything has been thought of and provided for. The owner is incredibly responsive and would highly recommend booking for a more authentic experience away from the larger resorts. Lots of lovely restaurants within walking distance we really didn't need the car but it is a lovely and central location if you want to explore the island. Watching the sunrise and sunset from one of the many terraces was so relaxing. Didn't want to leave.

SlovakiaThe accommodation was simply perfect. It is located directly on the beach with patio with nice view - we loved patio the most. House is very spacious and looks even better as on the pictures. Airport is super close and taxi is not expensive. When we rented a car ( to discover other beaches and for trips) we parked it easily and safely in the garage. Next to the house is nice restaurant - great breakfasts and drinks. We really appreciate towels to the beach and also another towels for shower. There were even fresh flowers in the vase in the rooms. Dream vacation house, book it.

We already knew Playa Honda quite well and chose La Orilla because of its situation, close to restaurants we like, easy distance for shopping and best of all a view oif the sea. It was very comfortable, exceptionally well equipped and wonderfully spacious. All appliances are of good quality and the property as a whole is very, very clean. There was ample hot water and really good showers as well as big thick towels.

United KingdomThe property is now being managed by a company as opposed to the owner although this is not indicated on the website. The new management have made some changes, not for the better. 1 Received keybox PIN number a few days before departure but it was changed and a new number sent while we were airborne and which we were unaware of. Caused a delay in getting in to property. 2 Drawer in fridge dirty. 3 We had to clean terrace and outdoor furniture before we could use it. 4 Two of the three washbasins did not hold water. Kitchen sink did not hold water. 5 Two venetian blinds in kitchen were damaged 6 Two pairs of dirty slippers were in the main bedroom wardrobe. 7 The surface over microwave and chest height cupboard only cleaned to within eight inches from back. 8 Behind kitchen bin dirty, peanut shell still there. 9 Only one tea towel for two weeks and no spare linen 10 Area around toilet toilet brush dirty and no toilet cleaner 11 A few days before departure we were advised that a bottle of water, handwash in two dispensers and 4 toilet rolls would be left. There was no water and no handwash. Also advised that shower gel would not be supplied lest anyone had allergies. The handwash dispenser obviously hadn't been cleaned for a long time. 12 Corners hadn't been cleaned - a used plastic bag found between wine fridge and fridge freezer. 13 Although the extras that Felix used to leave no langer happen are not of high importance, it did make a nice welcome. Considering how prices have increased the manaement are skimping. 14 Contact with the management is difficult , only available during certain hours of day. 15 A week before we were due to travel we were asked for a 400 euro damage depost, something which we hadn't done on our previous visits - I have since noticed the website indicates a 250Euro deposit
This was our 4th stay at La Orilla. We have been returning because it was a very comfortable, well equipped and very clean property as well as being in a lovely situation. 11
